Lamb Spit BBQ — Restaurant in Adelaide

The days of the lamb spit are over. There was one customer in the shop when we walked in. We both stood at the counter with no acknowledgement of our presence from both workers. Placed two very basic orders for meat packs and confirmed the orders with the attendant as I already felt doubtful that we were going to receive what we asked for. Not surprisingly BOTH ORDERS WERE INCORRECT AND COLD. BOTH attendants were obviously switched off and had their heads elsewhere. Should have gone with our gut feeling and walked out. Lamb Spit was once great,now not worth the time,money or effort, especially as there is no effort put in to provide a product that is fit for eating. The people serving don't have the authority to issue a refund which seems very convenient when serving up such garbage. You can get great yiros next door at Sotos.

Horrendous, order was wrong. There was no acknowledgement from staff when we walked in. They were too busy talking to each other and our order sat there so when we got it, it was incorrect, cold and had zero flavour. A tiny bit of garlic sauces, so it was just dry and terrible. We got takeaway, so we rang and said we wanted to bring it back and had no time to wait for another, so we wanted the money back. Guy said he didn't have authority and had to speak to his boss. Said she would call back, but of course, she didn't ring. The owners clearly aren't paying attention to the reviews. I wished we'd looked at them before we ordered here, but it was a good place when previous owners had it. These owners won't last long. it...

I am 59 years old and posted last night on facebook that i haven't had a nice yiros in nearly 2 years. To which a friend suggested to meet up at Lamb Spit at Semaphore. I can now say that today I had the best Yiros in my life. When I ordered I asked the owner to teach the lamb how to swim in their home made Tzatziki. Guys honestly it was to die for, there was no holding back on the lamb or the sauce. The Lamb melted in my mouth, it's now 8pm and i,m still full and satisfied. All for $12.
