Socked and become hungry after eating dinner at Lanzerheide… Humans become sad and miserable feeling if we are hungry.
We ordered Three course meal with selected wine”.
Please don’t order this course if you have a normal size of stomach. I was very looking forward that night and I try made hungry (I can’t eat much that why) because I wanted to enjoy eating food at nice restaurants.
Entree ; Light fried fresh Calamari with marmalade sauce with fried basil Potion ; about 6cm x 2.5cm , (one piece)
Second Entree ; Fresh salmon with cream cheese base with lemon sauce with cucumber Position ; diameter about 5cm
Main ; smoked Lamb roast Potion ; diameter about 5〜6cm
Dessert ; Like a panna cotta (much softer) with one raspberry and raspberry sauce inside with crunchy caramel on top Potion ; diameter about 5〜6cm
That’s All. No bread. Long time to wait to get next dish. No wine our glass because we didn’t want to ruin the dish.
Normally restaurant side making good deal for course meal but it was not. I really hoped restaurant side did attention to us that course is not enough to make us full. (Probably ok that size for elderly people) We did (needed) order take away pizza way back to home.

Read moreLenzerheide is hands down the best place to celebrate any special occasion with family in Adelaide! Since my wedding anniversary here, I’ve made it a tradition to celebrate every family milestone at this incredible restaurant. The service is consistently outstanding, the food is always top-notch, the cocktails never disappoint, and the desserts are out of this world. I always request the table near the big tree for a peaceful and refreshing vibes, making the night even more special.
Here’s my must-try list: • Appetisers: Tempura and Chardonnay Oysters (definitely get both—they’re worth it!). The Bundnerfleish is so tender and flavorful, the Quail is beautifully cooked, and if the Sashimi is on special, definitely go for it. It’s so fresh and vibrant! • Mains: The Venison Backstrap and the Trio of Beef Tenderloin are absolute showstoppers, juicy, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. • Desserts: I can't get enough of the Baileys Crème Brûlée and the Yogurt and Vanilla Bean Pannacotta are soft, delicate, and melt-in-your-mouth amazing. • Cocktails: For something sweet and creamy, the Toblerone and Swiss Martini are heavenly. If you’re after something fresh and zesty, the Cosmopolitan is a classic.
Every visit here feels special. It’s truly a place for...
Read moreWe have been going here for over 20 years but would be reluctant to go there again after our experience last night. The food was still lovely but the menu has changed considerably to its detriment. There was a quail entree however, when we received it, it was cut up quail sausage. There was no mention of it being in sausage form on the menu. Their famous rossti is now a sausage/cigar shape for one person. The chicken main was not a full chicken breast but two strips of chicken. They no longer have their soup or trio of beef medallions. While we are all for progress, unfortunately, this appears to be a bad move. What was great about the place has now gone. The silver service seems to have dropped off too. Previously the waiters used to serve the side dishes however, they are now just placed on the table to serve yourself. The food flavours were still great but it doesn't have the same wonderfulness that it used to. Sometimes the classics should be left alone. And to top it off, look at the bill at the end. For some reason their receipt does not calculate the whole meal to a total at the end. The meal ended up being $70 more than the total said at the end...
