This was the second attempt at trying this place as its close to 'home', with the hope that it would be an improvement over the last experience. The pork BBQ skewers were just okay, the flavors were decent. The entrees arrived after the mains, and most of the food was served at room temperature. I was really looking forward to the shomai (shrimp & pork), but when it finally arrived, it resembled one of those frozen packs you find at a supermarket. It was not authentic SHOMAI at all, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, they have raised their prices, which I can understand, but they didn't even bother to update the actual menu. Ordered ube shake, we were all finished eating and it didn't not arrived until we asked, there were no apologies. It's difficult to support Filipino restaurants when critical details...

Here is my honest review:

The atmosphere is great and cozy, and the staff are very friendly.

Couldn't say that for the food, here's a bit more on that: Pork sisig: asked if there was cooked or raw onions in the dish, I was told raw (I personally prefer raw and hate cooked), the dish then came full of cooked onions. The pork was bland, lacking seasoning.

Adobo fried rice (Pork): My fried rice, didn't even taste like adobo (more like Cantonese fried rice), oh.. and where was the pork? Nowhere to be found. (Pictures in your menu clearly show pork in the dish, did not reflect the actual dish that came to my table)

The only thing that was probably nice, were the Pork skewers.

My Filipino partner said that the food is not...

I was really looking forward to trying their food with my boyfriend since he enjoys Filipino food. We ordered batchoy and spaghetti, but unfortunately, we found the flavors didn't quite match the authentic Filipino quality we were expecting. While there was plenty of meat and chicharon, it seemed to over taste the dish rather than enhance it. My boyfriend ordered pork sisig, skewers, and pork adobo fried rice, but he didn't find them enjoyable either. We hope this feedback can help improve the overall...

Food is either a hit or a miss. I went to eat batchoy but the noodles’ texture is very weird like im eating a soaked cardboard. Even though the broth is very rich and delicious, the noodles destroys the experience for me. Also, in their menu, there were chicharon but when i ate there, it wasnt similar to the one on their menu. Same with their palabok. The noodles are too thick. It can choke a person. Hope this can be improved. The dessert here is 5/5 though.

I order my Tapsilog and Spring Roll it took a long time before they served my food I don’t mind to wait but this one was way too long. When my order has been served Rice was cold I thought I was eating a left over rice I was expecting that my food will be hot but nah. And the spring roll as you can see on the photo was mostly wrapper Chicken Spring Roll can barely see the chicken way too commercialised… Not good experience
