Still my favorite banh mi, but the portions have really shrunk. Honestly, still the best banh mi in town for the spiciest chilli, the most fragrant butter, and the most flavorful pickled carrots. I used to come here almost every weekday, now only once or twice a month. Back then the portions were so generous that the fillings almost couldn’t fit inside the bread — one roll was more than enough. Now it feels noticeably smaller, and I need to grab a few spring rolls on the side just to feel full. Maybe I just eat too much… but I’d honestly rather pay a bit more than see the portions cut down. I know times are tough, but this might really drive some loyal customers away.

Fantastic little place. I used to always wonder why the line was so long out the door but then I came to try their pork banh mi over a year ago and it was delicious. Most people get the salad bowls, and I bought one today, noodle salad with lemongrass chicken and lime and ginger sauce. It's so tasty and a very generous portion for the price ($12). The staff in there are always jovial and put a smile on my face. You can tell that they love what they do. Thank you!

Amazing food! Have had a few banh mi rolls and just tried the rice bowl with lemon grass chicken and peppered beef! Both meats were great, full of flavour, but the beef was just the right thing on a rainy day. It was super thin with zero fatty its and it warmed the soul in the only way pepper corns can. I'll be going double peppered beef next time!

ROLLS 'N RICE is absolutely fantastic. I work just around the corner and have been coming here regularly since I stumbled upon it. I've now tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed; it's all delicious.

The portion sizes are generous (I'm not a small person). The prices are very reasonable. The flavours are outstanding. The food is fresh. The menu contains a good variety.

There is usually a large line out the front, and rightly so, though the service is still quick. The two people who work there are lovely and friendly.

I've tried a lot of different places in the CBD for lunch, and would not recommend anywhere higher than this. I hope the owners and staff keep doing what they are doing! Thank you for...

Extremely rude lady who was in white on 19th Aug'24. No manners at all. It was busy, but I am paying for my food so I have the right to ask questions. I asked her if in the combo we can do 2 types of chicken, she made a face. Then after putting my things in a bowl, I asked her can you put a sweet chilli instead of soy, she said " You wasting time, so many people". If you can't work under pressure why do you? It's my right to ask if I am paying for my food. Your employee has no right to embarrass me in front of everyone. She literally shouted and I calmed her down. I am taking this to the consumer court for bad behavior. When I am calm, I don't expect your employees to shout at me. Disgusting...
