My recent visit to the West Terrace Subway left me with an extremely negative experience. The service provided by an employee named Komi was notably unprofessional. Initially, my order was mishandled as Komi left one sandwich open while attending to another, and when I requested the first sub to be wrapped first, it appeared as though they hastily stuffed the food into the wrapping. Subsequently, while preparing my next order, Komi continued to display improper handling of the ingredients and failed to use an appropriate amount. When I inquired about their experience at the restaurant and their familiarity with making Subway sandwiches, their response was discourteous. To my surprise, they discarded the sub they were working on and the one previously made, declaring that they would not serve me. Moreover, she instructed another staff member not to assist me either. Overall, Komi's communication and conduct were marked by rudeness and unprofessionalism, and I believe appropriate action should be taken to...
Read moreI've ordered from this store a few times, via Uber Eats, when I work night shift in the city. Each of those occasions the food has been mediocre, but it's a healthy, late night option.
For something different I thought I'd order the wrap with "smashed falafel" inside. As I opened the wrapping, the pita bread was consistently broken and with each bite it became quite messy. Clearly, the bread did not want to be wrapped as it refused to hold it's shape around the ingredients inside. After eating about half, I had to go serve a customer out front.
Coming back into the office to continue eating "dinner" at midnight, and the wrap has unwrapped as the bread is breaking, etc., and lo and behold, there is a piece of plastic hugging the lettuce. I removed it to look closer and it actually looks like the end of a glove finger, as it is 3-dimensional. I enjoy the fact that they were health conscious enough to wear gloves whilst preparing the food, but ... 🙄
Thanks for the food, Subway, but I think it's time...
Read moreShocked and disgusted, but sadly not surprised. My sister and I just ordered Uber eats from here, and sadly we had forgotten how subpar it was the last time we ordered from here, but this time was beyond a joke.
I ordered this: Gluten free wrap with lettuce, tomato, olives, carrot, mozzarella and mayo. This is what I got: nothing listed above, a few pieces of capsicum & onion, cheese and an incorrect sauce. I choose not to eat it as if everything else was incorrect, how could I be sure if it was even a gluten-free wrap! Also an incorrect drink as I ordered an iced tea and received a 1.5 L Sparking Water?!
My sister’s was even worse, but it’s not worth writing it all out. Let’s just say, not only will I never order Uber Eats from here again, but I will go out of my way to avoid this Subway at all costs.
An order being blatantly incorrect while still being close enough to our actual order isn’t a mistake. It’s someone thinking...
