We stopped for a very short stay, travelling between states. We just needed a place to sleep in. The location suited us perfectly. There were many restaurants and cafes on the same street and almost all other hotel brands in the vicinity. The rooms were clean and hygienic. Clean towels and bedsheets. We had some laundry so I was very happy to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. There is a microwave, oven fridge, kettle and everything you need to cook with, sets of cutlery and crockery too. Despite being located on the street, there was no traffic noise. They have a nice old townhouses vibe inside, trees and a few garden spaces with garden chairs. Garry and the lady at reception on the morning of 27th March were lovely.

Great location and price. Located at the heart of the city and walking distance from Rundle mall. Our room and kitchen were clean. Kitchen came with pots and pans, toaster and kettle. The toilet had a functioning washing machine and dryer. The heater/air conditioner had a moderately loud humming sound when it was on the heating mode. Didn't really bother us when we sleptm My only complaint, which I hope they improved on is to have recycling bins. I had several glass and paper containers which could have been recycled but I had to bin it after the front desk staff mentioned they didn't have any recycling bins. Hope the management would do something about it, like to implement a centralized recycling bin at the car park.

Positive : - Near city. - Exactly beside University, so its very safe area. - Clean room. - Kitchen is fully equipped. - Airport bus stop can be reached by 3-5 minutes by walking. - Free city tram can be reach around 5 minutes by walking. - They provide washer and dryer inside room including detergent. - They provide Rice Cooker. Negative : - No lift for the whole 2 weeks we stayed .So better call them first before make a booking. - If you choose room with no cleaning , it means no cleaning AT ALL , even you stay for 2 weeks. - Receptionist are hit and miss, some of them are nice , some of them are not.

An extremely run down old hotel. I made the mistake of booking a 4 nights stay here believing all the google reviews and the 4 stars hotel rating shown on Google ( all the high reviews and ratings are completely wrong). I checked into a 2 bedroom apartment and from the moment I entered the apartment everything went south. The size was extremely small and the rooms were dirty. The bathroom curtain had black molds and stains in the lower half and the shower floor was full of scratches, stains and marks. The bedroom doors were broken and didn’t close properly. The kitchen was so small that I alone couldn’t move around properly while trying to prepare a meal! The tv is from my grandparent’s generation and doesn’t support any external connections so you can’t stream or you can’t even watch anything using your USB flash drive ( nothing connects )! The rug on the floor was the only positive since it was dark colored ( blackish navy ) so it looked clean. The kitchen cabinets were also hanging by a single screw as the lower hinges were broken! There were only 2 towels in the bathroom despite booking the room for a couple and a child ( 3 people ). The amenities were so pathetic that the shampoo, conditioner, hand wash were less than half amount remaining on a small sized ( probably 50ml sized ) bottles. The kitchen didn’t have any tea, coffee, sugars at all. Why is this hotel being rated a 4 stars by Google list when basic amenities aren’t available!!! Location to Randel mall and the surrounding area is ok since it’s not...

Spent 4 days here over the festive break, and was definitely not impressed. Was in a 2 bedroom apartment that was so small, it felt like we were living in a shoebox. The rooms were sooo small and tight that there was literally no room to get changed. The living area had a 2 seater lounge n a separate chair.. definitely not enough living space for 4 adults. We had to call to get our room cleaned on 2 out of the 4 days. First day there we woke up to a maintenance guy in our apartment, saying we had a bedhead that needed fixing. The bedheads were fine, and we never called for maintenance - it freaked us out waking to a stranger in our room. On another of the days, we were in the living room and 2 people were outside, we heard the cleaner enter the apartment. He simply cleaned the toilet, changed towels, changed the rubbish bin in the kitchen n walked out. Didnt even fix the beds, or vaccum or anything. We were appalled and only after complaining to the rude guy at Reception, had the room cleaned. When i phoned Reception to tell them what had happened, the rude man at Reception told me that the cleaners were busy as they were understaffed. I told him, that was not my problem, i paid a fee for that service and if theyre understaffed shouldnt affect me. He rudely said if you have a concern about our staffing issues, you will have to raise it with our General Manager. Very unhelpful!! The ladies at the desk were super friendly and helpful i must say. Hence the 1 star.. otherwise...

On arrival and after paying in full almost $1000 for 6 nights at the hotel we were almost refused our stay by a smug receptionist - not sure of her name, didn't really care after driving half way across the country to stay at the hotel in Adelaide, anyway, she wasn't going to let us stay in the hotel because I didn't have a credit card their eftpos machine accepted. After asking if I could pop down in the morning to pay the $100 bond required, she advised "I will speak with my manager". The smug receptionist then popped back out and advised they could take a $200 deposit on just a normal eftpos card - which my partner happened to have. Dying for a shower - we agreed and paid the deposit. Checked in to what was the smallest hotel room in the history of my travels - not to mention it stunk like urine - we continued on our holiday. Our room was not cleaned ONCE - we asked for it to be, which was ignored. On check out we were told the security bond would be refunded on to the card (which they didn't have the details for) and my partner not really knowing any better, checked out. ONE WEEK LATER - I have contacted 3 different people who told me they haven't done anything and requested credit card details which I have happily handed over as we need that $200 that was paid refunded. STILL NO MONEY IN OUR ACCOUNT! I most definitely 100% do not recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to have an enjoyable holiday - maybe for a cheap $2 hooker bang....
