Sushi Chan — Restaurant in Adelaide

I went to Sushi Chan yesterday 26/1/2019 , for a sushi fix. I got a best of Sushi Chan Chicken pack, and a California pack. This place used to be a little luxury every now and then. The prices were a little high but the food was nice. But after the last couple of visits, something has changed and is seriously wrong. The most important part of the sushi to me is the rice, it needs to be like little perfectly cooked little pearls. But the last 2 visits from me the rice has been so over cooked it is like mush in your mouth. Whoever is cooking your rice does not know how to cook rice. There needs to be a manager there that is also a quality controller. If the rice is over cooked , throw it out and cook some more until it is cooked right. Mushy rice is disgusting, and makes me worry about paying your higher prices if i am going to get mushy rice. Please fix...

Do not recommend visiting this place! I had dinner there 2 nights ago, and I purchased a California roll and spicy tuna. Since early Friday morning I have had severe food poisoning. I tried calling up the place, and they told me how I am ‘gluten free’ which is not the case, and to call back in a couple hours to speak to the manager. They also told me how they make new batches at 7pm (which is when I visited the place). The sushi’s were not fresh, as the rice was quite hard. The person on the phone then hung up on me without apologising. Awful customer service, this is not how a business...

"I recently visited Sushi Chan in Westlakes Shopping Centre and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with one of the staff members. When I asked the Asian lady serving me if she could dispose of my tissue paper, she pushed it back towards me and refused to put it in the bin. I found her behavior to be very rude and unprofessional. Although the sushi itself was decent, the poor customer service left a bad taste in my mouth.
