That Restaurant on Gouger — Restaurant in Adelaide

The food here is so authentic and delicious! My partner and I had the pork belly in green pepper sauce and dry hot pot. We have tried most of the hot pot places in Adelaide at this point and this was definitely one of the best. Also, it is good value for a massive serving. Lots of fun, yummy drinks to try and the staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. So amazing that they are open so late so I could finish a late shift and still go out for dinner afterwards at 11:30pm. Last night’s dining experience was enjoyable overall! The food was delicious fresh, flavorful, and well portioned. The service was also excellent, our server was attentive and friendly.

However, the only downside was the temperature inside. While I understand it was a scorching +40°C day outside, the restaurant felt uncomfortably warm throughout our meal. A stronger AC or better ventilation would have made the experience perfect, especially on such a hot evening🥵.

I visited a restaurant converted from a heritage building for a family birthday dinner. The wooden decor and bar were impressive, though the lighting could have been better. The food was decent and less spicy than typical Sichuan cuisine I expected. I was also grateful for the spacious seating and the service that allowed us to enjoy a cake we brought.One thing that is suprising it opens until 3 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
