NOVEMBER 2022 - It took nearly 2 months for the pub to respond to my review and they invited me to return and "see what they're all about". Naturally, I was eager to return and contacted the owner directly, as was suggested by them. It's now been over a month and I've tried a couple of times to communicate with them, but they have not responded and therefore I am now even more disappointed by their lack of service. I reduce my score to just 1 star!

AUGUST 2022 - I originally gave them a score of 3 stars - My review: I walked into this pub for the first time ever today. I was very impressed - it is beautiful. I asked for the fish and chips and was told it wasn't available today so I opted for the Caesar salad instead. When it arrived it baffled me that is was full of what looked like red cabbage with a tiny bit of cos lettuce. I needed to re-read the menu to check if it was mentioned but it wasn't. Have been a customer at the Prince Albert for 10 years as I work nearby. I have seen a few publicans come and go now. Just recently it had been renovated and is under new management. I have eaten there twice now since the new owners moved in and I can honestly say the food is outstanding. I went there with a big group of friends for dinner and everyone said it was the best schnitzel they’ve ever had!!! I had a steak and fries and it was so YUM!! I had lunch there today and I had salt n pepper squid and it was probably the best salt n pepper quid I’ve ever had. The tartare sauce was hand made, the squid was high quality with a nice light batter and was seasoned like nothing I’ve ever had!! even the little salad it came with had a fresh made dressing!!
