Food is excellent and the waffle is the best in town so far!! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Waffles are preceded, in the early Middle Ages, around the period of the 9thâ10th centuries, with the simultaneous emergence of fer Ă hosties / hostieijzers (communion wafer irons) and moule Ă oublies (wafer irons).9 While the communion wafer irons typically depicted imagery of Jesus and his crucifixion, the moule Ă oublies featured more trivial Biblical scenes or simple, emblematic designs.9] The format of the iron itself was almost always round and considerably larger than those used for communion.[11
The oublie was, in its basic form, composed only of grain flour and water â just as was the communion wafer.13] It took until the 11th century, as a product of The Crusades bringing new culinary ingredients to Western Europe, for flavorings such as orange blossom water to be added to the oublies; however, locally sourced honey and other flavorings may have already been in use before that time.[13

I came back the other night and whilst the experience was good, my cousin and I started to experience stomach pains a few hours later. Both of us were up all night with food poisoning. It's now more than 24 hours later and I'm still trying to recover. I suggest the people who work there should consider making a FRESH batter with FRESH milk. I'm only assuming the batter was old or the milk had expired, or maybe both. Either way, this isn't acceptable and people should not be fed food that's not up to a...
Read moreWaffle & Coffee is a cute and petit dessert joint in the heart of Adelaideâs food & fun district. Came here for brunch and was thoroughly impressed. The prices were good, serving sizes quite large, and the food was exceptional quality! The iced matcha was refreshing and creamy, and both sets of waffles were packed full of fresh ingredients and tasted amazing. If you donât have as much of an appetite, I recommend buying a half serving, or if you donât have much of a sweet tooth, order a serving with fruit and less creamed toppings. Great place to come for a treat with friends, especially on a hot summers day. Will definitely be...
