Friday night I was deciding with my wife tto either go with the old G&G or had a first go to Zambrero, we are dissapointed...first, we were asked twice if we were ready to order. The first "are you ready to order?" is normal, acceptable, but sooo pushy and annoying that I thought "the girl is super young, she may not really understand social cues like 'people looking at the screens means they havent decided yet'...", but the second one came from the other young girl, with a fairly rush tone kind on implying "order now, we need to close". This was at 6:30pm. I asked the first one about what was their close time and she said 9pm, 2.5 hours to go, empty place...food? Meeeh, cold, not much meat, a super small scoop...good try on tricking buyers to see how the burrito is prepared, but when eating you are expecting to have something similar or better than G&G, but not even close...honestly a lot to improve, real training in customer service. These food chains may struggle if they continue like this...honestly, you just lost a couple of customers, and probably this review will tell others to avoid being disappointed and drive 27 seconds more...
Read moreI go here since it is a healthy fast food chain option. Clearly this store needs more people on board or handle rush dinner periods better. I was just about to be served by a staff who was cleaning (wiping bottom of the tables with detergent sprays) and just went on wearing a glove to start serving me! As I hesitated and looked at them in surprise, they stopped whatever they were doing, threw food gloves in the bin and started washing their hands with soap! I walked back and went in hoping to be served again with clean hands. Though they realise it was an oversight from the staff, there wasn't any apology and got defensive! Isn't it basic to have food hygiene especially in a food retailer? "Zero Tolerance" for verbal abuse was posted all over the store, which is fair. But will the management care to put more staff in place during busy times and provide proper training to staff?

Read moreOrdered 2 burritos via Uber for dinner tonight, 1 X chicken, 1 X beef. Sauces were incorrectly added (mixed around) on both burritos, and jalapenos were also added to the wrong burrito, which made the flavours totally not what we expected given previous purchases. Very ordinary. To top it off, one burrito (chicken) wasn't wrapped fully, and the beef burrito was so over filled, it was torn open inside the alfoil and was a real mess to eat... Oh and no cutlery/napkins provided as requested in initial order... Not good enough, especially as we paid $53 to have this meal prepared and delivered!! Sloppy work Zambrero Greenacres!!...
