I’m disappointed to have to write this review after I’ve had a few good experiences here, however on Monday my partner and I went for breakfast and were extremely disappointed in the food and the service also wasn’t great. The lady who served us made me feel intimidated and like a nuisance for asking Whether the add-on option of ‘potatoes’ on the menu would be hash browns as it didn’t clarify. I ordered an eggs Benedict and some parts of the bread were so hard it could’ve cracked the plate while other parts were so soggy it was falling apart as I tried to scoop it up with my fork. The food was also cold. The side serving of potatoes seemed to be microwaved roast potatoes from the previous night’s dinner service. I asked if it was possible to add two sugars to my iced latte as it was being made(there is sugar available on the table however it won’t dissolve in a cold drink), however none was added. When I went to use the sugar out of the container on the table, I was quite grossed out to find that there was some kind of oily substance leaked into all of the sugar packets. It was a disappointing experience for an $80 breakfast which I would happily pay for good food and service usually. We have eaten her twice before and had a lovely experience, food was good and service was good. However we ate here for a 3rd time tonight and it was terrible. Service was the biggest disappointment, we sat at the table was offered no menus and just left there for 15 minutes + we then had to get up ourselves and ask for menus, we were asked if we wanted water (given no options ) and was just brought Tap water. We ordered drinks and waited 20 minutes + to order food and again had to go up and ask if we could order, in all this time the staff were standing around and taking to what seemed like a friend or boyfriend. When the food came it was nice but the Chilli Prawn dish was a disappointment, it was literally swimming in oil (had it 2x before and was amazing) the whole experience tonight was a huge disappointment, the only thing I can say is there is a man in charge normally and everything runs perfectly, the wait staff seemed to not know what they were doing and seemed to be having a relaxed night, talking and quite frankly ignoring the customers (we weren’t the only ones unhappy) I brought this to the waitresses attention and was offered a free drink (which I didn’t want) totally unacceptable and would not return when the all female team were on, they seem to need the guidance of the male team member to offer...

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Everything else is trumped, because the taste the quality, the texture, the size, the freshness was perfect, nothing short of that. The meatballs were amazing, balanced taste, the quality of the meat used was perfect and the tomato sauce together with the grilled hot bread was so good we ordered a second one. The mushroom risotto had the correct ratio between mushrooms, and sauce, it was not watery, perfectly cooker and the taste was balanced, but it can be heavy if you are not used to rich tastes. The carbonara and the buratta were amazing as well, with the salad siding the buratta was sweet and complementing the taste of the cheese. The chicken parmigiana was huge as a portion and it looked very appetizing. The drinks were pretty good, and they were sufficient in alcohol, greatly balanced. Now as for observations, they could do something for the flies but it is an open space, so can't fault them. I don't like the ordering system that you have to order online, it cheapens the experience but I understand that the store probably is forced to do that because they have people walking out without paying. In any case the food was so good that nothing else matters. This is an expensive establishment, so be prepared...
