great place to launch a trailer boat from. think there is about 5 days free parking, and seemed to be plenty of parking room, although we were staying two weeks on the boat ( whitley 26) so i organised a storage place to come and collect the car and trailer. they met me at the ramp which was very handy. the boat ramp and jetty is great, and there is fuel at the large wharf just across from the ramp. the main boat ramp in town can get very busy whereas this ramp is much quieter, so i think is better and easier. it's only s few more minutes to drive around. but yeah a great...

Located about a 15 minute walk from the main city centre. It is very organised and there is a large amount of signage to ensure you’re in the right area. There is a large board with info about all the coming cruises. The area is quite large and has a cafe, souvenir shop and bathroom facilities. It also has a wide variety of outdoor and indoor seating. Check in area is easy to find, and the whole process...

We went to see Hamilton Island, but we stayed two nights in Airlie Beach. It was nice, we took a boat here and come back in the evening. The other day we stayed in Airlie Beach and explored it. It was really nice, also partly because the weather was nice. In the photo you can see the catamaran which we took to get to Hamilton Island. It was nice, took about an hour.
