🙈 Lovely little spot, busy with the cyclists so get in early on the weekends. UPDATED..... Disappointed after coming here a few weeks ago it didn't feel like the same place. The scrambled eggs kn toast were fine. The coffee was great. The service and toilets were not up to what I was expecting. No condiments (salt and pepper) offered, I had to go looking for them. The butter was rock hard (I hate that) but worst of all the toilets were like taking a trip to the outback..... Literally "out the back" behind the bins and the building, dark and dirty. The lights didn't work, 1 dunny out of order, the door didn't shut or lock. Now I don't mind so much but if I was older or less able bodied or a young child this would be a horrible experience, enough to stop me coming back for sure. In fact I'll actually check the toilets before I order from here again.... I'll admit I didn't wash my hands.... I genuinely felt it would be better that way.

I've been here a bit in the past and really liked it. That was years ago. Alot can change in a few years. Coffee is lack luster and weak. I asked for no choclate powder on my cap and they repeated "no choclate sprinkles?" Obviously I said no, what monster has sprinkles on coffee? Also asked for oat milk and got cow milk. Thankfully I'm not lactose intolerance or vegan, but imagine if I was. Eitherway can't sta d cow milk so now can't drink it. Both the workers said the brownie was really good. It was oilier than an oil rig, mushy with lumps that felt like cold over cooked porridge. Flavour was also a little unpleasant and too sweet. Couldn't finish it. Added bonus, one of them had a valley girl accent which confused me a little. Wasn't a problem, but was unexpected.

Met two lovely lady's here this morning, one the barissta, the other the full-time lass and I must say they were extremely friendly, helpful and knew their stuff. The chai almond latte was excellent for both my lady and I. The environment was comfortable and there was plenty of places to sit or stand. The food cabinet was chockers abd I had the yummy biscuit, a great dunker. This particular Kinky Lizard is in the heart of the Canning Bridge/Raffles Hotel area, near the Shops and is a frequently visited Cafe; is one of six Kinky Lizards, go try it, great coffee's, great drinks cabinet..

I've been a regular at Kinky Lizard Coffee Shop for a few months now, and I must say it has become my go-to spot for a great cup of coffee and a fantastic atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was immediately drawn to the inviting and cozy ambiance of the place. The interior is thoughtfully designed with a perfect blend of modern and rustic elements, creating a unique and comfortable setting.

One of the standout features of Kinky Lizard is, without a doubt, their exceptional coffee. The baristas here are true artisans, skilled in the craft of brewing the perfect cup. Each sip of their coffee is a flavorful journey that excites the taste buds. Whether you prefer a rich and robust espresso or a smooth and creamy latte, Kinky Lizard offers a diverse menu that caters to all coffee lovers. They use high-quality beans that are expertly roasted, resulting in a consistently excellent brew.

Aside from the top-notch coffee, what sets Kinky Lizard apart is the wonderful vibe that permeates throughout the establishment. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The dim lighting, comfortable seating, and soothing background music all contribute to a relaxed and enjoyable experience. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, catch up with friends, or even find solace in your own thoughts.

Moreover, the staff at Kinky Lizard are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They make you feel like a valued customer from the moment you walk through the door. Their genuine smiles, attentive service, and knowledge of the menu add to the overall positive experience. Whether you need a coffee recommendation or simply want to engage in friendly conversation, the staff is always eager to make your...

This place seemed inviting as I drove through the area, quite a few people enjoying their coffee outside and local tradies dropping in for a take away. Seemingly, a nice little local. Worth a shot!

I took a look at the menu and landed on the shakshuka. I found the service when I ordered underwhelming; not very welcoming or receptive (maybe it's just me?).. I asked if it's possible to add some fresh dill to the dish (noting it's available on other dishes) though the question was met with confusion verging on disdain ....so I politely withdrew the request. 😂. Maybe they were having a rough day.

When the food arrived the server kindly said "I hope you enjoy your meal" which was nice.

The shakshuka seemed to be diced tomatoes with a spoonful or four of brown sugar and a tiny bit of spice. There was some onion in there too... the x1 poached egg was overcooked. No feta as advertised (or not noticed). Watery. Highlight was the side of garlic toast, that was nice. I appreciate that people make and enjoy shakshuka differently and have different tastes, so the dish could be right on point for...
