Have been here a few times to eat. Food is consitently about a 7/10. My last visit though left me stunned and extremely unimpressed with the customer service. Ordered our food and ate in store but had some left over so asked for a take away container. I was stunned when we were told we would have to pay for take way containers. Now considering firstly that a meal costs the same whether you dine in or take away, we had dined in using the supplied plates, then we were asked to purchase containers for our leftovers, containers which would have been supplied anyway for the same price if it had been take away meal ! It would pay to educate staff on how to provide customer service and a pleasant in store experience with the purpose to retain customers and future business rather than attempt to charge extra and annoy a customer for something that would be included anyway if the...
Read moreThe food we've had so far has been basic, freshly cooked and tasted okay. Hits the spot when you're hungry.
Service is minimal: you order at the counter, someone brings you your order. There's no other attention given unless they're closing, you're still eating and they want you gone 🤣
Four visits so far for quick, "cheap by Perth standards" meals (think $17-20) in the form of basic food served in small bento boxes. Ohnamiya Applecross hits the spot for consistent mediocre, hit/miss service, and decently deep fried nugget-sized pieces of protein with rice. Here, even the teriyaki chicken and fish are nugget-sized and deep fried, they just have teriyaki-style sauce poured over them. (See pics for example)

And while i’m well aware this is by no means the best Japanese in Perth - in terms of value for flavour this is actually right up there. The food is always prepared quickly and the fact that the dishes are so consistent is commendable.

If you haven’t tried it before-...
