Sensations en Ardross — Restaurant in Western Australia

I went to Sensations this Monday with my dad and sister, and they had this sign outside that said they’d give you a free coffee with any main purchase. I was excited, but when I went inside, the woman at the counter told me that there’s no free coffee on Mondays, and that’s not their sign. Can you believe that? The sign clearly says “Sensations en Ardross.” I felt a bit ripped off, to be honest. The service was also a bit slow. There was only one woman who made the coffees and took orders. On the bright side, the shakshuka was really good! It had a delicious flavour. The coffee was also tasty and smooth. But I had to rate the food below average due to the big breakfast. The big breakfast was way below restaurant standards. It was greasy but somehow dry still, and ordinary. The atmosphere of the cafe is pretty good and quiet, though. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming back based on the food, service, and the fact that the restaurant didn’t honour their own...

I’ve been living in Ardross for over two years and used to go here fortnightly. There’s been new owners here and the second time I’ve been with disappointing service both times.

First time we received small coffees despite paying for large. No refund was offered just another coffee much later which I wasn’t up for. The coffee was also done by an amateur with very little experience, milk was too thin and watery.

Second time I asked for a take away wrap and had to repeat the order and the wrong wrap came out with a slice of tomato which was 1/3 of a tomato.

It’s one thing to have new owners but quite another to post fake reviews on here, just look at the most recent reviews. All photos of food is ideal lighting and 5 star all the way with no criticism and just repeats the word ‘cosy’. I won’t be going here again and it’s very sad to have the soul taken...

I wish I'd taken a photo of my food because lemme tell you it was a HUGE serving. I got the mushroom breakfast dish with a side of bacon (sorry can't remember exact name) and the bowl was genuinely bigger than my face. Really good flavours and generous portions. Price is great for what I got I was low key thinking maybe they'd made a mistake and given me extra of everything. This is the second time I've been in and both times I've left feeling satisfied.
