Dear Cafe 5 Owner,

Thank you for your response.

The condition of the cushions should have been inspected at close or before open of business.

For the price of your breakfast, I have eaten better elsewhere, no need for me to cook at home. There were previous reviews that your food was overpriced, poor quality and stingy on ingredients (e.g Bahn Mi - pricey at $12 each, didn't have much ingredients, no flavour…etc, hence I didn’t want to order this item at your café.).

I attempted to speak to your staff, but she couldn't be bothered instead saw her chatting and laughing with non-Asian customers.

If you don't accept my feedback, that's fine, just stay as it is, and I wish you the best for your business.

Review on 15 Oct 2024: Dirty stained cushions on the chairs. Breakfasts were overpriced, beef sausages tasted horrible, small portions and stingy on ingredients. Coffee passable. Waitress was rude, only interested in chatting with and serving non-Asians. Overall, terrible food and poor service. This was our first visit and will be the last, no more spending our money...

Cafe based inside the bigw/woolies shopping centre. Across from apolo health and just at the top of the escalators. Nice and clean with lots of seating. Nice menu selections. Myself and friend come excited to finally have bahn mi close to home and even more excited they had pork. The bread was beautiful and exactly what I hoped with a bahn mi. Unfortunately the roll was lacking in some ingredients- no coriander although I did look and I believe the menu didn't state it, the pork was lovely but wish there was alot more and there was alot of cucumber but they were thick chuncked slices where as a longger thinner cut would of been better for each bite and consistentcy. The paste and Mayo I feel needed more. At $12 it was a bit higher in price for what was served. My response to the owners comments: The waitress that walked away from me whilst I was talking to her was the middle aged lady with short black hair. Unless you are that lady, you were not there and have written a pack of lies in response to honest feedback. I'm a Google local guide and you can see my other reviews. I always give credit where it's due, but not in your case.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had the eggs benedict. Only one piece of bread, not toasted, hollandaise sauce tasted like it was from a jar, small portion. I'm still hungry. My wife's Big breakfast was equally disappointing, two mushroom halfs and quarter of a tomato.
