I had a terrific customer experience recently. I was travelling back to Coffs with my 3 children who love red rooster. They said this particular Red Rooster doesn't have a drive-thru. I found that hard to believe but sure enough it turned out to have gone full retro. Anyways, my daughter and I went in and ordered 6 gravy and chicken rolls and the staff member asked me to confirm a couple of times because it seemed like a lot of food for 2 people. (my 2 sons were in the car outside). I pretended to be fat-shamed and said ,"by the way the 6 rolls aren't for me - I've got kids in the car". She smiled - I smiled and my daughter laughed. Then I said "Just so you know - I could eat 6 rolls if I wanted to". Seriously, it was nice to have a friendly customer service interaction and be able to have a laugh instead of a drive-thru interaction. 5 star experience from me. Read moreOrdered delivery, it took an hour to get here which I was ok with because obviously they get busy; Caleb rocks up and hands me my food, I ask him where the drink is; he says he forgot it, but will bring it to me on his next delivery. That didn't happen, called the store the next day to ask for a refund, Brandon says "that's weird for you to call the next day" - well I'm sorry that I took your staff member at their word and trusted they would deliver what I paid for. Then he says just come in and pick it up when you're driving home - the whole reason I ordered delivery is because I don't have a car and the store is far out of the way from my work and home. I honestly wasn't upset until that "bit weird" comment. How hard is it to pack your orders properly. And on top of waiting an hour too. My mates order was completely wrong as they just gave him what they had left and lying around, and his food was just as bad as mine.
