Waiting half an hour or more each time we come here whether it's in store or drive thru just to get to the speaker to order.
Prices are getting higher and we no longer have the convenience we used to get with fast food. KFC Armidale are always busy, we understand but maybe have some more staff would help with the waiting times...
I have started to do online ordering, but it's still taking forever, tonight I placed online order to pick up at drive through, whilst still in the driveway, we got to the window to receive order to be told there is a 12-15 minute wait on the chicken pieces, to please park and they would bring to us. There was 4 cars sitting and waiting in our cars and another person advised on the crap show inside, so after waiting at least another half hour we walked in and demanded a refund, we had to wait for the manager instore, Whilst inside, there was a couple who took two big buckets and box of chicken, numerous cars have been driving out the driveway, so instead of giving those waiting on chicken who have been asked to park, were still waiting whilst others were driving onwards. So placing my order whilst in drive through, it was placed at 6:45, we left with a refund at 7:55....not good enough,
they say they have a staff shortage, I'm thinking more of a food shortage or something, if you can't fill orders in their order then stop taking orders till you catch up....
This restaurant is never clean, never on time and always has a shortage of large potato and gravy but now it's seems cooked chicken too.....

Read moreHow bad can a KFC get? This store is an example of poor training and lack of quality control. My family and I ordered 3 Hot Rod meals. Initially, we were impressed with the great service. This was the only positive. We had to enter and exit the restaurant 4 times to correct mistakes. Firstly, no spoons for the gravy and no napkins and wipes. They aren't available for self service, so why are they forgotten? Second, we got 1 wrong burger and the rest had no more than 5 pieces of lettuce. When I took them back, they gave me another burger with the same amount of lettuce. If this is the consistency and quantity you use, DAMN you guys must be losing a lot of customers! Thirdly, incorrect drinks and lastly the chips were cold. We couldn't be bothered going back considering we had dogs in the car and couldn't keep leaving them. The management team needs to pick up their game because this type of service is really poor and represents the KFC...
Read moreOn Good Friday around 4 pm, I visited this store to pick up a bucket of chicken for a camp. I had read several concerning reviews beforehand and was hesitant to make a purchase. To be sure, I asked a few customers eating outside, and unfortunately, they confirmed what the negative reviews had said.
Despite my reservations, I decided to go in—and I’m so glad I did. A lovely young man served me, and he was absolutely fantastic. While most of the other staff appeared to be standing around out back, this young man stood out for all the right reasons. He was polite, efficient, and went above and beyond to help me. When I requested freshly cooked chicken, he obliged without hesitation.
