Would definitely go again, might be back, might not, dunno. Well well well, what have we here a review I see or you see to be precisely where I intended to be …anyway, we arrived at the establishment for a romantic dinner for two and we were impressed by the illustrious down right opulent display of certification and congratulation notably including an empress dragonfly, a mouse trap and a very low to the ground chair. The food, was edible and drinkable because it was liquid (souply) with subtle notes of nutty nourishment and glee to be precisely where I intended to be… anyway, the man himself mr P&J had severe eyebrows of celestial blue which emanated a certain allure. The rice was neither absent nor present it arrived and was taken away in a constant cycle of replenishment punctuated by the soft soprano of the chef as he gracefully balanced duties in the both the kitchen and the floor what a sweet voice to masticate to. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh the memories… anyway, the waiter wore a vest of threaded grey. He was smaller than I, his anger was palpable but his eyes were puzzled muzzled snuggled with sad ness under a blanket of uncertainty and fondness of past times, past lives and past wives. The waitress was just a delight simply absurd in her mastery of the art of kindness. Do you know how she did it? Probably ten years in the kindness business.ahhhhhhhhhh the memories So many So vast So fleeting. Like the curry in the belly, like the fish in the stream, like a cloud on a windy day or the frost in the morning, like a match to a flame Like an old man snoring, like his chickens bekawing before their necks are snapped and their feather plucked, and they’re tossed in the pan by PJ’s hand… anyway Good food, pretty good service, nice place

Food was good! The servers (who I assume were kids of the owners) were absolutely lovely. The chef might be moody and in a bit of a hurry as we were in so much pressure to choose what we would like. A bit more hospitality may help but you know what? He is thai and I am Filo and he said "Salamat" which means Thank you in Tagalog. Which was funny and cute! Its one of the best restos in Armidale and will visit them again for sure! Experience is okay but food was great! Exterior of place was also interesting!

😁 what an experience, when i ordered it was very peaceful, calm a few bottoms on seats and take away pick ups coming and going, went to pub for a couple while waiting, got back and it seemed like mayhem, bloke running around screaming orders to the kitchen, big line of customers however i learnt this is how they roll and the outcome is the food is outstanding, delish, and locals are here in numbers, anyway definitely recommend for a quality feed of thai.

Rip off merchant. Didn't have a good experience here on Christmas night. Ordered stir-fry, red curry and rice for two. Order came quick but rice wasn't even enough for two. My wife and I are not big eaters either. The coconut cream wasn't even mixed in just poured on top. Wife and I took 2 small scoops out of the rice as we were trying to make it last. The chef came back and asked if we would like more rice, I thought yeah righto bring us another one. So he proceeds to pick up the half full tub of rice from our table and takes it back to the kitchen. The tub came back with about one extra spoon full of rice, which was less than we originally got! A couple of minutes later he comes back again and asks if we would like more! No thanks!

The stir-fry was dreadful and small, while the red curry was only just palatable (it had cabbage in it, which I have never seen in a Thai red curry). At the counter we were charged $10 for the two large rice, which was equivalent to one small rice anywhere else. On top of this the 10% surcharge for public holiday, which is understandable, just made us felt even worse on this occasion. $47 for two small meals with rice and nothing else is not acceptable.

Chefs kids were working at counter so hard to give any feedback or question them....

Overall a good experience. Table of 4 and 3 out of 4 dishes were delicious. My meal was beef massaman and it was good, but the beef was a bit tough. We ordered coconut rice for 4, and what came out was too small, however the young teen girl was very quick to get us some more rice, and she was friendly. Young male teen who served us and took our order was incredible, so efficient and professional we were really impressed. Owner was an eclectic personality, very interesting and funny. The staff out the front were a tad snappy and told us to sit on our table when we got up to pay, However I can understand that this is probably due to covid. I think there is obviously a difference in language and culture between me and the Thai family who runs the restuarant, and so i am understanding. There are some negative comments relating to their customer service, but honestly they are such a cute family business that you can overlook it. They are efficient and cook good food, and like any family have good days and bad days and that can be forgiven (in fact its quite cute and funny). Overall I would highly recommend this restuarant, if it weren't for the tough beef it...
