Burger Urge (Armidale) — Restaurant in Armidale

Firstly we reserved a table for 10 people, when we arrived, the table wasn't available, we waited until the people finishes to eat, and we had to clean it ourself since no one really bothered to really do it.

After ordering 6 beers, we have been informed that there was no more gas in the tap. Allright, after giving us Asaki light 3.5° instead, if I wanted light beer it would have been good to specifie it. I wouldn't took it.

I specified to the waiter, the bad service and asking for a discount, was easier to ignore our request rather than answering to it.

Went to order other tap beer, same problem occurred, no gas and our order has been taken. After received the last drop with no gas of beer i let you imagine the deceivable taste of it. Aswell no one really bothered with the difference of price between the order and the replacement of beets , and no commercial gesture neither.

Food - average burgers, don’t understand the hype around them?? Truffle burger had barely any sauce and tasted bland. Chips were probably the best part. The buffalo tenders didn’t taste like buffalo sauce and for the 2 you get they’re really small. Price was high for the quality and quantity you get.

Service - alright nothing that stands out

Atmosphere - loved all the art in the restaurant however the mocking picture of Jesus with a third eye is disgusting. It’s not art it’s just pure disrespect. If I had seen it before I ordered or if I had noticed it whilst researching this place I would’ve never come in just based off of that. Would love if the business had some respect for all instead of catering to a few. You wouldn’t catch them mocking the devil, Buddha or Mohammed.

Overall, people have overhyped this place so much for no good reason. Not sure how it ended up on national tv but lesson learnt 👍🏼👍🏼 Would not recommend nor come back here. Armidale needs another RESPECTFUL and tastier...

Stopped in for lunch and loaded up on delicious carbs with an El Diablo Burger, Fries, Shake, then Boston Cheese Slider and Onion Rings with Aioli for my partner. Staff were friendly and helpful, only reason for the loss of half a star was my first choice burger and shake flavour were unavailable. El Diablo and fries was good, with fresh contents and plenty of flavour in the pattie, and not too hot with the chilli sauce. I upgraded the Shake to a Thickshake but didnt find it was a thick as i like so it was just ok. Slider was a very decent size and would suit anyone with a smaller appetite, I would actually say it is a mid sized burger rather than a slider so good value. Onion Rings were sensational, lightly battered and delicate sweet flavour, I'm usually not a big fan but I couldn't help...
