Came into the store and was absolutely appalled by how the staff were acting.
They were talking, arguing, throwing things at eachother before even coming to the counter to serve me, after already looking at me 10 times and deciding to make me wait.
I ordered 2 large triple cheeseburger meals and 2 extra cheeseburgers by themsleves, which took a while.. wouldn’t help almost every staff was mucking around.
Finally got my order. And walked down to Adachi Park down the road, opened the bag up only to find ONE triple cheeseburger and 3 regular burgers. So missing a whole other triple cheeseburger.
So I called the store and talked to the Manager. (I’m pretty sure his name was Jack or Jake). Told him what happened and apologised over the phone and said I could come back to the store and have it sorted out,
I did just that. Came back to the store and talked to the manager in person, where he without hesitation fixed it up for me and gave me a free order of 2 triple cheeseburgers and 2 regular cheeseburgers, while still being able to keep my original order.
Staff were still messing around the whole time even after leaving and coming back, making and throwing paper planes at eachother while the store was busy with people waiting.
But I got back what I paid for. And probably would’ve have gone out of my way to come back if I didn’t see how poorly the staff were acting. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and very unprofessional.
End of the story is, Thank you to the manager who was very kind and polite and set my order straight for me. Very appropriated.
But I do advise you more carefully decide who you choose to...
Read moreI've been back to this particular HJ to see if anything has changed lately with how the food quality in this particular HJ.
The quality of the food there in this particular store is still very poor quality across the board and I do frequently go everywhere around to different stores but not sure if the daytime quality is better than evening and early mornings but the burgers are still not right.
I will go so far as to say it not even recognisable to me as HJ burgers if there was an blind test with the stores down south almost anyone of them and this particular one I would say it not HJ but the reality is that it is been running as an Hungry jack franchise restaurant for years.
I don't think HJ does any quality control or testing anymore letting each store pretty much do whatever they like with the quality of food that come out. Absolutely no consistency in the food. This place though takes the absolute cake.
I was passing through HJ in Rockingham at about the usual late night or early morning as I typically do nights. That was probably the best HJ I ever had in an decade or more it actually even looked identical to the model burgers on the screen. Whoever flipping burgers there that night seriously takes pride in his or her work delivering...
Read moreYou may think it a touch unsportsmanlike to pull up at a drive-through, and complain about feeling "pressed" by the staff; one may not fairly go out for fast food and then whine about the food being "too fast". That is, however, exactly what I'm about to do. As a long time patron of drive through eateries around the world, I've been lead to believe that my responsibilities (in terms of expediting fast-food item X out of Window No.2) extends only so as my driver-side window. As such, I think I'm ready to take care of those responsibilities, free of any 16 yr old's oversight from inside the restaurant. I don't mind being told to drive forward every time I come here - an exceedingly reasonable instruction for first timers - but once, I assure you, will do just fine. It is, of course, the prerogative of any employer to insist that their employees not only complete the tasks they've been given, but that they hurry-up while they're at it. I would only ask that If you'd like to tell me how to do my job, that you pay me for the privilege. The food, on the other hand (as you'd expect from a drive-through in the peak of their busy hours) was hot, "fresh", and exactly...
