Bargara Golf Club — Restaurant in Bargara

Started out good , a while ago ,left disappointed, food is very nice but gotten smaller, toilets smell bad . I don't go there much due to not knowing if they feel like making cocktails or not while still advertising them Kelly I think is her name she made me one with a smile., when another said a ignorant no , you lost a table of ten, it was a birthday and you said no, Stop advertising them if you don't make them ,your bar had 4 people there by time I was served it was just me ,I don't get it ,warren was polite ,funny how things turn around ha. Not impressed, and I am not alone ,you have lost others I know this cause they told us at the bowls, ill never understand rudeness ,if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen This is very disappointing,but we will come back as there isn't much here and the foods nice but to say we are disappointed is a understatement, where did politeness go ,rude to a paying customer is absolutely insaine ,the way you say no ,rude ,why not say o I am sorry a little busy But if I get a break ill make one", I want to go back to the golf as foods nice and the view is nice, it's a shame , maby try a little harder ,we are regulars,and don't expect perfection just a little respect as we do to you. All we ask for is the staff to be polite which is something everyone expects, if you don't you will loose more customers, it doesn't...

Incredably average bordering on really awful. Only for the very desperate this excuse for a restaurant... After a 65 minute wait for our meals upon arrival, the stuffed Chicken was simply.. not stuffed with anything in any manner at all ..rather it was flattened by possibly a toasted sandwich maker until it was so dry and so tough !! ..I have never actually tasted chicken this badly prepared.. even at the wosrt take away joint I can remember going to. The accompanying veg was average and over-cooked to say the least. A major dissapointment all round. The rump Steak suffered a similar fate... Dry and leathery and totally unfriendly to the bite, texture and taste wise.. The pepper sauce tasted like a bad instant gravy mix with a few peppercorns thrown in. The fries were soggy and sorry... We will never return to this place and we regularly go to Bargara for our break and possibly anywhere else would be a much better choice to eat at.. including the McDonalds down the road.. Yep....That...

Tried the restaurant a couple of times. The first time was on a busy Wednesday dinner. We ordered the homemade chicken kievs, the grilled fish and the eye fillet medallions. We had to wait one hour for the mains. We got served the single eye fillet instead of the medallions. We reported that to the waiter and she said that they don't have such thing as eye fillet medallions. Of course she had to change her mind we showed it on the menu. She eventually justified the mistake saying that they call it "300g eye fillet" instead of "2x150g eye fillet medallions". No worries. The eye fillet wasn't too bad but the chicken was incredibly dry. The grilled fish was watery and overcooked (like, how is that even possible?). They served complementary garlic sauce and extra bread to apologise.

The second time was on a quite Thursday. We had fish, squid and pork belly. The food was very average and the pork belly didn't come with any sort of crackling whatsoever, it was like pouched and not...
