Hubby and I ate dinner here last night, for the first time. Hard to believe I've never been there having been a Geelong resident my whole life. This is your typical country pub (in a city). Family owned and operated and it shows. From the outset we were impressed by the warmth of the staff. They were super friendly and attentive. I am new to gluten free and this place has the added bonus of catering to my needs. There are more or less two menus. One normal and one gluten free. They basically have the same items on them and the price barely varies between the two. The food is typical pub food. If you're looking for mixed grills, parmis, rissoles, roasts etc, you'll find them here. I chose the parmi, chips and salad and I was thoroughly impressed. The size of the meal was generous, the price really good and I wouldn't have known I was eating a gluten free meal. The chips were hand cut and yum! The staff were happy to answer any questions and also just happy to have a general chat. All in all it was great and we will...
