The Berry Donut Van in Berry, NSW—where locals and tourists alike abandon all dignity in pursuit of fried perfection. There’s no room for judgement here, only the smell of dough, cinnamon, and the sound of diets being obliterated.

Let’s talk about these donuts. A fresh, plain cinnamon beauty, still hot and glistening with sugar, lands in your hand like a gift from some deep-fried god. You take that first bite, and it’s clear—you’re not in control here. It’s a melt-in-your-mouth, fluffy masterpiece that somehow tastes both like a warm hug and a reminder of all your past food sins. But, really, who cares? Each bite makes it feel worth selling off a bit of your willpower, one sugary mouthful at a time.

Then, there’s the sausage roll. This isn’t some sad, flaky mess you grab from a servo on a road trip. No, this is the Rolls Royce of sausage rolls, a buttery fortress around a filling that’s seasoned so well it feels a bit criminal. With each mouthful, you’re both thrilled and slightly horrified by just how good it is, almost as if you’ve uncovered some deep, meaty conspiracy.

So, if you’re ever passing through Berry, surrender yourself to the inevitability of the donut van. Don’t bother fighting it. The line-up of locals and hungry tourists means you’re in for a treat—and maybe a mild heart attack. Just close your eyes, take a bite, and make peace with the fact that the next stop’s probably going to be the gym… but not today,...

The best classic Donut from South Coast, NSW!

This is one of the most recommended places to visit in South Coast but honestly, we were half-hearted to even try out this place since my husband and I aren't really big on Donuts and thought it's just plain old Cinnamon Donut, nothing too interesting. But since we needed a stopover heading back to Sydney, we thought of checking it out anyway. And oh my, am I glad we did!!

Albeit there's a long queue of people waiting to put their orders on, service was pretty quick and efficient. Donuts were served freshly cooked, piping hot! Just the mere smell of it is already heavenly!! It's slightly crunchy on the outside yet soft and moist on the inside! Not too sweet at all. It'll go very well with a nice cup of coffee or tea. We got the 6pcs. for AUD 11.50. We loved it so much, we regretted not getting a few more for later! But then again, it won't be as good as when it is freshly cooked.

Prices as of November 2021:

1 Piece = $2.2 6 Pieces = $11.50 12 Pieces = $18.0

So for those planning to visit down South, you wouldn't want to miss this one! It is well worth the drive!

P.S. As someone who grew up in the Philippines, this definitely reminded us of Dunkin's...

I went today for a long 2 hour drive to go get what i remembered World Class amazing Berry Donuts... what i got was oil soaked so much sugar and cinnamon to try and take the taste away from the oil that tasted like it hasn't been changed in weeks. I paid almost 15 dollars for 6 donuts even though the sign said 13 dollars. I was charged a surcharge due to it being the 1st of January which was over the required amount and on top i paid CASH!! Since when do you pay a surcharge on cash?? No other store was charging a surcharge in Berry only them. Greedy and bad disgusting food... Shame on you for taking advantage of people. Management has changed the original owners worked hard to achieve the title of best donuts in NSW and would never have done this to their customers. The new management clearly have no idea what they are doing. Took one bite and after posting this i tried to give one to my dog and she flatly rejected it and that is saying a lot considering she eats her own faeces. I felt ripped off paying for donuts that even Coles would trump in taste. Never again if i could give zero...

The annual migration to see outer Sydney is here again. My friend is the one who recommended a MUST stop over to this donut joint. Because at this point my friend has mentioned it a handful of times and I'm trying to keep my expectations low. I was expecting all sorts of donuts until he discloses they only specialise in one type - cinnamon. I was taken aback, what's so good about them? Okay, they did not disappoint. I have easily demolished two fresh, hot, fluffy cinny donuts in no time. I had to stop myself from eating a third since this was considered a light snack before diving into a late lunch. The donuts are well drained from the fryer and a perfect coating of cinny sugar. I'm no donut connoisseur but it's not a donut texture I've had before. Have only had the thick ringed cinny donuts and they can get quite doughy and dry. Not these ones. They are a literal donut van but plenty of modern seating. My friend told me they've just done it up since it use to be an old parking lot.
