I had the loveliest experience at Sonoma Bakery yesterday , and I have to give a special mention to Jackie, who made my visit truly memorable. When I walked in, another customer was telling Jackie that they’re the best—and after my experience, I couldn’t agree more!

I was after a fruit loaf, and although they had just sold out, Jackie didn’t hesitate. With the warmest smile and so much kindness, she offered to bake one fresh for me on the spot—and even sliced it beautifully. Her genuine willingness to help and her happy, caring energy absolutely made my day.

Tucked away off the main street we found this gem last week, came back again this week. The bread is delicious, the cakes not only look incredible but taste wonderful. We had a beef pie and a chicken pie both delicious. Hot but not too hot, pastry like nothing I have had before. Coffee was hot and you could taste coffee, unlike the warm milk in a cup I have found in so many other places these days. The shop was clean and tidy. Food well displayed and the staff very friendly and patient ( It is hard to choose ) We like to go on trips about and have a feed.
