食味 Luo's Place — Restaurant in Brisbane City

The food was ok. But the service was atrocious.

You can tell the place was newly opened by the undertrained staff and the disorganisation going on. When we went there was less than 50% capacity and the food still took forever to come out despite us ordering only 1 thing.

There was also the issue of very poor explanation of what we were ordering and the process in general. Some guidance would have been nice considering the English translations on the menu were wrong to start with.

By the end of the meal the bowl of rice we ordered never came. We were very close to walking out, saved only by the fact that food was a good price.

I think I need to emphasis here that the service really needs some improvement. We received no apology for the missing rice, when we left there the cashier didn't even say goodbye, thanks or anything of the sort. Cold dead silence... Takes a payment then we go. What a poor form for...

they are well known for their charcoal grilled fish and my goodness it all makes sense because it was super delish and flavorful!🤩🔥you can choose what kind of fish as well as what sauce you prefer with it!🥰

I was very unimpressed with my recent visit to this restaurant. From the start, they provided only one menu for two people, which was inconvenient. The food portions were much smaller than what was depicted in the menu pictures. The lamb dish, in particular, was a complete disaster—almost entirely fat with no meat at all and it was $38! We were not offered water, and there was no place to get it ourselves. The dishes were under-seasoned, and there was no salt provided at the table. Additionally, there were no tissues available, which was quite frustrating.

Overall, it was an absolute disaster. I wonder if we were underserved because we’re from a different race, as our experience was far below acceptable standards. Given the disparity, I suspect many of the positive reviews might be paid or incentivized. I would not...
