The hunt for a good Asian grocer ends here. Located at the busy sunnybank market square, this grocer is your answer to your frustrations at the lack of Asian ingredients in big named supermarkets (you can't blame them anyway. We're in Australia).
There's two main supermarkets here. Yuen and high fresh. Yuen gets all the crowd. But it's okay. Let the crowd go there. You can go to High fresh. It's a more comfortable shopping experience and they have whatever Yuen has. Forget about getting Asian vegetables from the other markets. High fresh has the best looking Kai lan, pak choy and spring onions for cheaps!

Not as big as Yuen's around the corner, but the draw card of this place is since being renovated it is quite modern and clean. Definately the cleanest Asian grocer out there, as they all seem to want to over stack shelves and gets a bit grubby. High Fresh is well maintained, and although tight in one or two spots, every aisle can be navigated with a double width pram. Probably the only one you can do this in Brisbane, while maintaining the size and variety of products on sale. The underground carpark dedicated to this building is a big plus considering the busy parking in market square....

There is an obvious lacking in frozen produce. Fresh produce was always running low or less fresh.
Prices are obviously more expensive than the other Asian supermarket a few metres down the other side (Starting with 'Y'). This place specialises more on Chinese and Taiwanese products. Less so for South East Asian and Korean products.
Our advice is to shop around. Pricier than...
