That Viet Place — Restaurant in Brisbane City

FINALLY FOUND OUR NEW FAVE IN BRIS!! I have to say it is quite difficult to find a quality and authentic viet restaurant in Brisbane but this place has delivered exactly that. We’ve been here twice, the first time we tried the bo la lot, rice paper rolls and my partner got the pho, and wow. The moment we tried that pho broth (WITHOUT SAUCES btw), we instantly knew the other dishes were going to be amazing. We’ve been to so many viet restaurants (majority of the ones in Inala, warrigal, pho queue($$$$), Brisbane cbd ones - nope don’t bother), and pho broth always seems to be very difficult to get it right without needing the extra sauces. The other dishes came out and was AMAZING, so flavourful, authentic and a delightful home-made taste. Definitely better than some I’ve tried locally in Vietnam.

Obviously went back a second time and decided to try new items!! Crispy skin chicken, spring rolls, once again pho (partners’ new favourite now) and lemon iced tea, and yep they did it again, everything was absolutely delicious even the tea (which is normally diluted with water at other places). Also spent ~$50 for two ppl for this!! I really don’t think you can go wrong with any items on here. Pretty safe to say, we finally found our new fave viet restaurant in Brisbane!!

So we spoke to the owners son because I’ve always seen this restaurant but never actually tried it. He gave a bit of background and said his family took over the restaurant about 5 months ago, revamped the quality and items on the menu all whilst trying to keep prices relatively low for customers (although Sunnybank rent is already expensive so still enough to keep afloat). Everything on there has no msg, everything is fresh and prepared on the day, and nothing is frozen. If they don’t finish it, it gets thrown out to ensure top quality and better service the next day.

We asked about their open/closure times and days. Owners son said he wouldn’t even miss a day off of work afraid he will miss the opportunity to welcome potential regular customers. He honestly just looks forward to serving customers, has a great attitude (something really hard to find unless you go to a fine dining restaurant paying $450+, even then, they could take some notes from him), and is trying to ensure it’s a well-run fam business with top customer service. ALSO, he remembered our faces the second time and greeted us with a huge smile!!

WOW! 5 Stars Omg Mouth Watering Deliciousness. Mmmm Came down for the Toy and Hobby Fair at the Nissan Arena down the Road, Wanted to find some Authentic Vietnamese, and I found it! The Beef Lemongrass Banh Mi was to die for! I gave my partner a bite, (who only wanted KFC and had just finished his box) and he said Mmm wow it taste like it came from a bowl but it's in a bun wow that's soooo good 👍 And he never eats any other then KFC, maccas or hungry jacks. I also ordered the Special Beef Pho to go. I told them we had a long drive home back up to Bribie Island and they packed it soo well, not one spillage, and the takeaway was separately packed so as to bring it all together in the bowl at home, see in the photos. Omg that Bone Broth is amazing, the Melt in your mouth Brisket Beef Slices and beef balls ohh heaven in your mouth. Noodles were so fresh. Service was very fast and they we're so Kind. I am so Grateful to have been able to try thier handmade, top quality and family made Vietnamese food. I would highly recommend this to anyone and definitely will drive over an hour to have this again....

literally best phoga on god at brisabne like holy jesus. this phoga was so good like i literally ate at this restaurant every day for the past 3 months literally spent my entire savings on this restaurant. DEFs worth the money like on jah G. like the food is soooooooooooooooooo good there is like no words to decribe how good it was. this restaurant literally made the word "delicious" have its true meaning. I love this restuarnt so much like i sleep outside the restaurant at night and wait until they open so im the first customer everyday cuz i need that yummy phoga and spring roll like breakfast lunch and dinner. BRO ONG AND ON JAH this place is sooooooooooooooo goood. bro aunty and uncle literally know what they are doing bro, they can literally be blind fold and still make the phoga perfectly.. defs recommend all the boys the come to this restaurant for the boys night out like on god who woudnt want a night out wit the boys and phoga and some spring roll.
