The Banneton Bakery Cafe has welcomed me for years with warmth and conscientious care that truly makes me feel like I have a group of coffee nymphs to help me feel more Goddess-like than ever. Who needs a spa when your morning latte is filled with graceful customer service like this!

I bring my children here for quality talk time, or I come along to write and be inspired by the array of community connections and spirit that has been fostered by the Banneton team. Other regulars would agree - and I direct new comers here often.

Not the greatest service but coffee is decent. Pricing is very pretentious. I recently ordered a coffee and tipped $1 change. Upon return she had 'lost it' and had to make another. I asked to add on a babycino which was a further $2.60 - I scrounged around in my wallet and was 20 cents short which she proceeded to huff impatiently until I could find it - if I hadn't given her my $1 tip I could have afforded their overpriced babycino! Pretty pathetic when most places are less than $1 or free. On another occasion, I ordered a toasted sandwich but had to wait 10 minutes at the counter for someone to take my order whilst one girl made coffee and the other one was outside tragically flirting with a guy at the table. Cannot fault the pastries at this place! Consistency fresh and delicious - which same goes for their cabinet sandwiches and wraps.

Probably my third or fourth time visiting here over the years, but first time ‘dining-in’. Each time is very ‘hit or miss’ with coffees and friendliness of staff. On this occasion my cappuccino was very sour and bitter, and I’ve had this occur one time before as well. I do think it depends on who makes it, so would love to see some consistency! Their other location seems to really hit the mark with their coffees in all aspects and would love if this cafe could be just as reliable. Other than this, would 100% recommend their cinnamon...
