A little suburban gem serving up some delicious Korean food.
We came to taste test their lineup of KFC (Korean fried chicken, or what they call K-Chicken) but also checked out other meals in the process. Happy to say it passed with flying colours and we made a subsequent takeaway order as part of catering for a dinner event held nearby. The chicken was very popular and well received 👌
They have both bone-in and boneless chicken options. You basically pay whatever the base price is for the chicken of your choice and add $2 per sauce.
An exception is the Triple S which is a preset combination of sauces providing a more complex flavour profile - it reminds me of sweet & sour but it's also more than just that.
The menu also lists a number of other meals (hence the name of the shop!) and these were all solid options!
Pricing is on par with what you'd typically find in other Brisbane restaurants with similar food except this is a more casual setting serving a largely takeaway clientele. We paid under $23 per head and had leftovers.
There are some seats available for dining in the al fresco setting. I always prefer to have my KFC as freshly fried as possible so I'll be making use of these seats for my future visits.

Flavours are no longer spot on, chicken a little overcooked, topokki swimming in thin sauce and missing fish cake. Used to be one of the best joints in Brisbane, now it's just ok. Staff very friendly and attentive. They have Kloud beer now too so that's a plus. Worth coming to if it's nearby and you can't be arsed travelling further. With some attention to detail and a slight reworking of recipes they could be great again. Happy to finally have a Korean restaurant in the area. Garlic and soy chicken was great (also good to eat all of the chicken, not just wings and legs) as was the bulgogi and bibimbap. Staff friendly and attentive. Only advice would be to drop the regular fried stuff from the menu (spring rolls and calamari) and maybe provide a small side salad or pickles with the chicken. Moist hand towels would also...
Read moreI went there wanting a box of fried chicken ( I’d tried a piece before it was really good) bloke was on his own and came over to serve me, I asked for a box ,he replied “ I don’t feel like making that just now sorry “! I was gobsmacked, will never be back. I got a kebab from the Turkish place which was lovely. Owner claims it was break time but unknown to him I watched him chopping chicken for 5 minutes prior to him coming to serve me, he then approached me and was serving me until I asked for the fried chicken where he then clearly showed on his face he just couldn’t be bothered making it and tried to say he was on a break....
