Zambrero Camp Hill — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Usually I come here literally every single day and it’s always been my favourite but the past few times have been pretty horrible.

Tonight my partner and I both got burritos and the rice (usually the best part) was so mushy and wet i don’t even think you could call it “rice”. All the onion and corn was literally in only 1 part of the burrito so when I took a bite it was either purely mushy rice or either a mouth full of onion. Was also barely wrapped properly and fell apart in my hand because the guy wrapped it so fast to try and get through orders faster because it was busy. But in all honestly I would rather wait an extra few minutes for a decent burrito rather than a rushed, half open one.

Probably won’t be coming back until the only guy who can actually make a decent burrito is there (brown hair male about 19 years old), haven’t seen him for ages though and also don’t know his name. You should give the man a raise if he’s still there he’s the only one who can...

What a disgrace to the Zambrero chain!! I ordered a Vegetarian Nachos and Burrito via Ubereats. I ordered the regular size ones and got extras. The veg nachos was missing any quantity of the pinto beans and was mostly corn chips and lettuce. I paid for extra beans, extra salsa and extra tomato. Didnt even get the regular standard serving!! The same goes for the burrito, 3/4 of it was filled with rice, I was lucky if there was even a teaspoon of the beans!! I had to open up the burrito to check if there was even any!! For a meal that is regularly supposed to have double beans and I paid for extra beans… it didnt even have a basic serve. Or the extra tomato I paid for. I am severely disappointed and angry at this store, never again Camp Hill. Shame on you for allowing any of your workers to do this. I paid over $20 each for both items… I cant understand how this has been allowed to happen repeatedly at this store. I regret not...

Absolutely disappointed. We love Zambrero but this was by far the worst burrito we have ever had. The girl who served me was lovely and clearly shy and new so please watch your new staff so they are producing food of a the high standard I know and love.

We have a cauliflower and vegetarian burrito that has hardly anything on it. I realised she forgot the double beans on the vegetarian one and we hardly got any rice, lettuce or any other filling.

I was shocked that I asked for two tacos because I know these weren’t going to be enough to fill us and I was right.

Please provide supervision to young new staff management it’s not good enough in this cost of living crisis to be paying a lot for food and to receive horrible quality.
