More than just a kebab shop!
The Delightful Turk is a family run restaurant and you can tell their heart goes into everything they serve. While they do make kebabs (which are amazing), they have a far more extensive authentic Turkish menu to select from.
I love that staff take the time to get to know their local regulars. Even when they’re flat out, service is always paired with a smile and welcoming hello. You’re not just a number!

As part of my family's trip around the world (in Brisbane), for T we picked Turkey where we were delighted by the Delightful Turk. Dining in for dinner we had the Turkish plate, which was a combination of wonderfuly seasoned lamb and chicken, acompanied by flat bread, babagnoush and sour cream dip, seasoned rice, and a typically Mediterranean salad. We also had a babagnoush plate with falafel and flat bread; lentil soup (loved and recommended by the owner, and us); and Yiros with haloumi. The team at The Delightful Turk catered for us for a surprise 40th birthday party at home and the food was absolutely outstanding!!! Aysha helped to guide us in our menu selections to ensure we chose items that would leave people satisfied and that we had enough food for 50. It arrived perfectly and on time. The team went out of their way to make sure everything and everyone was taken care of. Everyone commented on how beautiful and tasty the food was, especially the lamb and the homemade dips.
