Baskin-Robbins Mt Ommaney — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Took my order for the large birthday cake over the phone although confirmed the size. They also said $5 for the candles and the balloon decoration of the part cake as per photo on the website. Arrived at the shop today and was not even greeted by the staff who saw me but kept serving other customers while I was waiting 10 minutes. When she turned to serve me, she gave me the bare minimum friendliness like she hated her job. When she took the cake out, it was a medium size in a square shape and not round like in photo. The cake also looked ugly unlike the photo online. Disappointed. Also tried to charge me more for the candles than quoted and no balloon decorations like promised (apparently non existent and only a fake deco online! FYI I was confirmed they would provide the exact deco like in the photo stating both balloons and candles for an extra $5) As I finished paying, she gave me one stamp after just spending $65 so I asked her how come the other people got 4 stamps for spending $20. Her answer was she wouldn't even normally give a stamp for a cake. I said I had spent a lot more and I couldn't be bothered with her ranting so I said never mind. Will never ever go back again. Customer service is appalling and staff have no people and basic customer service skills. I wish I had read the other reviews before I'd gone there as they were mostly negative and the store just proved them...

Disappointed in the service today, We came in to buy 4 ice creams. My little boy took one lick of his after she handed it over and the ice cream fell off the cone and onto the floor infront of the counter. The server girl just looked at us and shrugged, I handed the cone back and said please can we have a top up and she replied that she’d have to charge us for the extra scoop and can’t do it for free !. Like what did she expected then my son to pick it up off the floor or go without ?? They were only little kids scoops as well.. I did say you need to maybe push them in a little harder so they don’t fall.. but it was a disappointing experience, of course on the odd occasion the scoops fall off the cone but as it was within the same second of her handing it over and still in the shop, usually ik other stores this wouldn’t be a problem to replace.. so $40 later for 4 kids scoops ice creams...

Just had the worst experience ordering at Baskin and Robins Mount Ommaney. They lady working at front started off by lying and stating they don’t do takeaways for their sundaes when you can clearly order this through Uber eats. She was also extremely rude when asking me what flavours I wanted. There was no one in the store and she repeatedly asked even though i told her I was still deciding. Furthermore there portion size is ridiculous. I have ordered from the forest lake store and this no where near the correct portion size. From being lied to, the rude customer service and been given a ridiculous serving size will definitely be driving the extra 20 minutes to go your competitors.
