Feedback regarding the store manager and her professionalism.
I am thoroughly disappointed as a returning customer and come here quite often. On every visit when the filipino manager is on and working till she has the worst attitude hands down. Working in frontline customer service- she lacks the ability to warmly welcome and greet customers. Her patience is limited when placing orders, constantly tapping her fingers, when It literally takes two mins for me to place an order and cost her zero dollars to exert patience and kindness.
Now yesterday, I was keen to try the new Betty’s bites menu. After a visit in store and spending over $50 I had ordered a CRISPY CHICKEN BURGER for my 2 year old (which was previously part of the kids menu) It is plastered in photos all over your new menu and clearly advertised on your website, app and menu in store. She took my order and to my knowledge I was to receive that burger. This manager is clearly unaware of her menu which is a shame when it comes to upselling her products…
The burgers came out wrong. None made as per order and my son received a beef instead of chicken burger. Thoroughly pissed off bcos at this point my child is hungry and food was served in front of him that he wouldn’t eat.
I take the food back to replace it correctly and this manager continues to argue with me more than once. Multiple times she came towards me to revisit the argument telling me WE DONT SELL THAT BURGER NO MORE. Continuing to argue while my child is screaming and all I want is a chicken burger for my son. Profusely I told her, you took my order no problem. Your menu advises that you sell it and your advertising and displaying this new menu? I found every part of her professionalism and conduct to be poor to say the least.
She needs thorough training in customer service and I strongly advise appropriate management for your store. NO STORE MANAGER DISPLAYS PROMOS/NEW PRODUCTS WHEN THEY DONT HAVE...
Read moreThe food here is pretty good, but the service has been terrible every time I've been, and it's always the same young lady with long ashy blonde hair. No greeting, no gesture or invitation for us to order, just a glance of eye contact and scrolling on her phone. I know how hard and stressful it is to work in hospitality, but all 3 times I've been served by her, it's been really unwelcoming and odd.
I can't say 100% for certain, but I genuinely feel like this person has a problem with disabled people who continue to wear masks for their and other people's safety. Just based on how she has treated me and others who mask, it feels quite discriminatory and weird how she has treated me vs. how she has treated others before and after me.
This afternoon I came here once more and the service was even worse -- she didn't put our order in correctly, and when we realised, she jusr said she didn't charge us for what we wanted and then walked away. We ended up re-ordering, but we had to get her attention, and when she gave us our food, she just pushed it at us and said, "Here you go," while already walking away. It just felt extremely stand-offish and rude. She also told us she didn't hear us because of our masks, which may very well be true, but I have a circle of covid conscious people and we all mask around each other, and none of us had trouble hearing one another, and on top of that, being told we can't be heard because of our mask has been used as a passive aggressive form of ableism against us and others before, and she was being weirdly abrupt and standoffish. It's hard not to feel uncomfortable in that situation and wonder why it's happening. That aside, it was just super weird for her to say that as if we'd accused her of something and then turn around like the conversation was done. We still wanted the rest of our order 😅
I don't think I'll be coming back here in the future, since every experience has been...
Read moreBEWARE IF YOU HAVE A BETTYS BURGERS ACCOUNT!! FRAUD WARNING.
I received an email on 24/8 from Betty’s Burgers who advised that my account was signed in from an unknown device to me followed by an order confirmation for $268 worth of burgers at the Mt Gravatt store.
I quickly contacted the store to advise them this was not made by me as I was in a different state and the only other person who would have access to my account was my partner, was overseas. The female staff member on the phone advised me that the order had already been picked up.
In the order confirmation I received, the email states that for any online order over $100, requires photo ID to pick up.
A couple of questions here - 1. How did this person gain access to my Betty’s burgers account? I have had no issues with people gaining access to any of my other accounts.
How did the staff at the Mt Gravatt store allows this to happen and not check the photo of the ID of the stranger who gained access to my account?
A message to all Betty’s burgers customers who have an account - remove your stored card/delete your account ASAP as this could happen to you!
I have contacted my bank and the police who have been great through the process however I cannot say the same about Betty’s Burgers handling of the situation. I got one generic email back from a customer support employee named Amy who didn’t listen to any of what I wrote in the initial email and could not advise me of their privacy processes of storing of information or their own terms and conditions in regards to checking photo ID for orders over $100. I have emailed 5 times since my initial email and am yet to hear back.
Extremely disappointed about this...
