Stopped in for cocktails and a couple of choices from the Pale Pickings menu, and we were not disappointed. The Kung Pau Cauliflower and Za’atar Spiced Lamb Meatballs were packed with flavour, very delish! The Lychee Martini’s went very nicely with our dishes - we would have tried more dishes, but we were off to the movies and needed room for movie snacks LOL!! We definitely will be back to sample more another day. Unfortunately, one very slight let down requires mention (please take this as constructive criticism) - the bartender. He needs to be more attentive to people waiting to be served at the bar. My friend went up to order the cocktails, and was ignored until he finished a casual chat with another team member and served her when he was ready. When I went up to order food, he just patiently kept doing what he was doing and did not acknowledge me at all and in both instances we were the only ones standing at the bar at the time, so he was far from busy. The team member that welcomed us in and took our order was great, fantastic customer service. Although the bartender made nice cocktails, he just needs to polish up with his engagement with the clientele.

Kung pau chicken, buttermilk chicken tenders and crispy fried calamari are all tasty, with the cauliflower the standout because of the soy glaze. The calamari was tender, but one piece was still cold in the middle in one part and not cooked through. The pearl perch with skinny chips was ok at best. Thickish crisp batter over a couple of small bits of supposedly pearl perch. Either the supplier, or the pub is having a lend. I've caught a few largish pearl perch and none have had the texture or flake size and structure of the fish on my plate. The crispy chicken burger was very oily and not really crispy. The grilled chicken burger was delicious. The fish tacos were nicely balanced, but once again the batter was thickish and the fish relatively tasteless. I have to say all the accompanying aoili, mayo and relishes were tasty. The skinny chips won over the thick chips. Service was excellent. Range of beers on tap good. Prices at the top end considering the quality of fare on offer. Nice little coffee nook attached and a showcase of on the go rolls and sweet treats.

Great coffee Excellent strong long black and latte Opens at 6.30 I have been back twice for coffee since the review and the coffee is consistently great. Today we had Eggs Benny with salmon and mushrooms and it was very, very good. Just one small whinge: the Turkish bread was really hard to cut. Love the different types of seating and the relaxed vibe March 2025 Back from years overseas. Coffee is just as good as ever.Their dirty chai is delicious plus a breakfast roll with bacon, egg and some delicious brown aoli like sauce. You order that from the outside window. Super and economical! Always friendly service. July 2025 Finally went back for breakfast of a Spanish Omelet with potato and chorizo. Super!

If your menu has limitations during certain hours, please advertise these on your menu.

I was in the area, specifically looking for somewhere that could do an early dinner that would be able to turn something around for us quickly.

I found your establishment was open, had a quick look at the menu ahead of time, and made a beeline for it seeing you’d be able to hit the spot with a good range of food for the diners in our group.

As I arrived I let the staff know on arrival we were pushed for time and hoped to order straight away. She mentioned the dinner menu wasnt available till 5pm and that bar snacks were available. :(. I asked for some recommendations of what could be turned around quickly for us and if they could do takeaway if we ran out of time to eat. In the end our meals were delivered in about 15mins which was acceptable but only just. That being said, the food was good and the service was really friendly. I greatly appreciate you working with our shortage of time. And for offering packaging for the rest of our food to takeaway.

The only thing you really need to do is advertise the hours limitation on your menu. We will be back but I’ll ring ahead to order...

had the rib eye steak I wore a medium was one of the nice pink line just threw the Middle Ages suggested the medium rare I will say this medium round look like you have been cook for 10 seconds on each side the tomatoes weren't cooked at all vegetables would just plants Underwood do think that they need to knock some of the fence in as out of their meals and actually learn to cook them a little bit better or more to the description of what's on the menu other than that the atmosphere wasn't too bad for the guy that was taking menu seem to be more interested in hitting on women at the bar yeah atmosphere here is not the greatest and might be when there's meat live music plan but unfortunately it seems like there's little groups that kongregate different areas there's no conversation between other tables or whatnot nevertheless it is a nice place in its look but will it last probably not it's only a matter of time before they realise that they need to keep customers with the food so they drink afterwards I'm just come there to have a quiet drink and leave thank you guys I...
