Mozza Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Rang up to place an order for delivery. Pretty standard, one would think. Phone was answered by an Indian female who seemed confused at the request, then had to check with her supervisor if that could be done. Apparently the supervisor said yes - the female gets back to me saying that she could take my order. I said "oh good", then waited for her to ask me for what I wanted, but there was just silence on the line for at least a minute. I then said "um, are you still there? are you ready to take my order?" to which she did say "yes, go ahead" but I just told her to not worry about it and hung up. It was weird and awkward that she was just silent on the line for so long, like she didn't know what she was doing, and I had to prompt her to speak. I felt like she was probably going to get my order wrong after all that. WHY IS THERE SOMEONE EVEN ANSWERING THE PHONE IF THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY? Decided to try something different tonight and went outside our area after pick up of the daughter.

Most decided on pizza and pasta quick search and this place was close enough and had mix reviews. Quick look online and we order was made via phone for pick up.

Was all ready for when we picked up, store is like any pizza outlet, front of store parking or side street parking. A few chairs to wait on and a table. Friendly staff and pick up was easy.

We’ve given this restaurant a fair go but been bitterly disappointed on three separate occasions. First time we ordered expensive chicken schnitzel and received ‘pink slime’ ‘chicken’ wrapped in breadcrumbs (a large chicken nugget, no real chicken). We were then told the Schnitzel was being made from real chicken so we ordered it - it arrived totally inedible. It was so dry and hard that we couldn’t cut it (or SAW it) with a steak knife, much less chew and swallow it. Tonight was the straw that broke the camel’s back. We ordered pizza and received the pizza in the image. The entire order was stone cold and utterly inedible.
