After lots of dancing, exercise and laughter I’m going back for another term! The Kangatraining component is a great way to get back into exercise and an enjoyable time having your little one enjoying the ride too. Prior to joining I was nervous he wouldn’t like being in the carrier and his naps would go haywire, but Kristelle calmed my nerves (+ answered alll my questions) and he slept through the beats and enjoyed each squat and dance move asleep while I exercised.
Kristelle and Jen are amazing human beings! Very kind, welcoming and friendly. The mums group after was a nice way to socialise and let my little one socialise with other littles ones of all ages. We had great speakers come and talk with us. The speakers were not just focused on one age group. This was great as we could hear what worked and didn’t work for other mums, as well as listen to their questions which would one day help us when we reached their age. Read moreHighly recommend Kanga training Coorparoo. I joined 6 weeks postpartum and it was the best decision. My body was slowly recovering and also regaining some muscles. It was precious time I had my Bub in sling which I don’t really do in my own time unless I have to.. felt like my Bub was also close to me during session and loved seeing him in sling comfortably sleeping or smiling. Meeting other mums and chatting between and after session were great I made a few friends there to keep in touch which was a bonus. You get to exercise, being close to your bubba, meeting new mum friends, having fun activities and guest speakers, getting free drinks to refresh I feel all that in one session is a great deal. Last but not least the instructors Jen and Kristelle are so passionate about what they do and bring full of energy so we feel so energised after each session. Being short on time with 3 kids, I will just share my thank you message to Jen after 2 terms of kanga. “Big thanks to you for doing all that you do to make mums feel powerful again after having their bubs, and simultaneously so supported. Your classes are so fun and motivating, and nailing some dance moves honestly gives me such a sense of personal success and a connection to “me” amongst all the mumming. Compared to other exercise classes and mothers groups that I have tried, I can honestly say that what you offer is special and very important to raise mothers up during a very challenging time.
