Visited for lunch with the family Wednesday 25/09/24. Party of five. Was just what we were looking for after a long drive from the Gold Coast with much traffic congestion. There was a waitress working, Morgan I believe her name was (short, dark hair). Very friendly, presented polite and professional, had a lovely smile. As a long-time hospitality worker myself, it's that kind of demeanour that sets a great first impression and reflects the business as a whole.

Whilst ordering at the counter, I overheard another co-worker.. a senior staff perhaps, address this girl with a negative and dismissive tone, instructing her to "leave" from the till and "go clear plates". Was a shame to hear, as I know that feeling all too well being in the industry. Despite this, my family and I noticed that this waitress kept busy. Clearing plates, wiping tables, running food and interacting with customers, although the resturant being fairly quiet. All whilst remaining positive and friendly.

Quick side note but this same senior staff sold my elder mother a Corona without offering lemon or lime. When we tried to ask for lime, she said "I don't know if we have any.. i'll check in a minute". While not the worst thing ever, I just found it odd and unorganised. Other staff seemed to be lacking enthusiasm.

Food was exceptional! Compliments to the chef. Everything fresh, presented well, crispy chicken was just that, whilst also moist inside, well seasoned, not bland by any means. Beautiful for a chicken burger enthusiast. Perhaps just a tad skimp on the sauce. Beef patty on burger was also moist, seasoned well and not overly greasy. Fries were hot, crunchy and seasoned uniquely. Buns were perfect, not too dry or dense. Salads were fresh and flavoursome. Wait time was reasonable.

Only slight downside was our milkshakes, advertised as KitKat and Aero Mint, were quite weak on the flavour there and didn't stay cold for long. Would be great to see an alternative milk option also (such as Oat, Almond, Soy, etc). In this day and age, c'mon. Can be too rich with the full cream ice cream, full cream milk AND full cream whipped cream. Heavy on the stomach. Not everyone wants fizzy pop or alcohol. So would be a nice addition to break that up.

Venue was clean, great atmosphere sitting outside, menu was simplistic yet diverse and actually very reasonably priced for the quality. Compared to that of other burger joints. Hopefully management can step up a bit and practice a more positive work environment for all staff.

4.5/5. Will be recommending and hopefully...

Me and the wife popped in for an early lunch whilst waiting for our afternoon flight. We ordered the double Cali Stax for me, and the double Impossible Urge for wifey. Chips to share.

Double Cali Stax - brilliant smash Pattie’s, perfect cheese melt, good salad bun meat ratio. Great signature sauce.

Double Impossible Urge - wife rated the burger as “delicious”. I tried it myself - patties seasoned nicely, not overpowering like many impossible burgers. Once again ratios in the burger were spot on

Shared chips were cooked well, with a delicious and unique seasoning. Serving size for $5.50 would be above average.

Overall meal - Double Cali Stax ($14), Double Impossible Urge ($19.50), Chips ($5.50), Stone & Wood ($9) and Pepsi ($4)

Grand total - $52

100% satisfied with the cost of this meal, an the quality was well above expectation. Would return in a heartbeat

Picture is from her POV - by the time I even though to take one both burgers...

Ordered a burger today with my sister. I ordered a gluten free burger and hers was a regular burger. Upon receiving our burgers we noticed the buns looked the same but was told it was gluten free. After eating half of the burger I started to notice this was NOT gluten free as I began to feel sick. The waitress comes to me with a different burger saying that she’s given me the wrong Burger and that the one I had just eaten wasn’t gluten free as I’d assumed. I explained to her this will make me sick and was not offered a refund or apology. This incident caused for me to be unwell due to the gluten. Thankfully my reactions are not as severe as some and if this had of been given to someone who was more gluten sensitive it could have resulted in them being hospitalised. Overall the staff did not seem to care about the order and the dietary requirements. VERY disappointing and would have appreciated a refund considering the...

Funky decoration at burger urge. The wall of shame for the other "competitors" was pretty cool. The burgers here definitely claim to be better (way better, perhaps) than the fellows on that wall. My partner had the bacon truffle and I had the smashed triple. Both did not disappoint us. The patties were definitely cooked to perfection! Cripsy edge, still super juicy! Bacon was also crusty! Buns were soft and fresh! Big big thumb up!! However, we had twice here, both times, the chips were a bit under cooked, thats the point lost. Perhaps, burger urge should work on the rest other than burger at the same time (?). Tips: -There is membership you can sign-up to collect point. Also a good idea to check out their menu. -There is also credit card surcharge, although almost every place these days will charge CC fee on top.

I was hungering for a burger and I know they do gluten free buns so my husband and I popped in here for lunch. I ordered the Smokehouse Stack burger and sweet potato fries. The photos are of the pool of grease that dripped onto my plate while consuming the burger, and the grease that gushed out onto my shirt while taking my first bite. If I hadn't been starving, I would have left the rest of the burger on the plate, but I did finish it (though I didn't really enjoy it). The sweet potato fries were good, but they really ought to install a dedicated fryer for gluten free! Not long after eating it, I became nauseous from the amount of grease in the burger! I've had Burger Urge before from a different location, though from memory I've generally ordered from their grilled chicken range.
