Taste Bar — Restaurant in Brisbane City

This place is disgusting. We came in the morning, wanting to eat a good breakfast. But the staffs were just so awful. Their service was so disrespectful and would not do their jobs properly. We orderd our food 20 minutes before and we had to ask then when it was ready. And they answered saying they haven’t started. Without saying any apologise they just started cooking after 20 minutes. The chef came in to solve this problem but he did it in such disrespectful way aswell. Simply after refunding our order, they treated us like rubbish(shooing us off basically) if they had a job they should do it properly. The whole service was rubbish. I don’t even want to give a star. I was having a great time at DFO until I was served by a rude staff member at this cafe. The young woman was extremely rude & tried to send me to the back of the line. I tried to explain to her that I've been waiting in the line & I was ready to order. She demanded that I wait in the line and spoke to me in an unpleasant voice. I was so taken a back by her rude manner & said I didn't want to order a coffee anymore. I also explained that I saw another customer leaving because she was frustrated when she was told to go back to the back of the line after she had been waiting, and that I said you need to make it more clearer for your customers. What a terrible customer experience! I certainly won't recommend this...

We recently visited the Taste Bar at DFO, and it was truly extraordinary. It happened to be my wife's 40th birthday, so I wanted to make it special. I took her to Bunnings and BCF before treating her to lunch here. My rost pork roll, extra butter, extra gravy, cheese and chicken salt was amazing. My wife is more adventurous when it comes to food. She ordered a focaccia or something Italian like that, which had vegetables on it, so not for me.
