I’m a massive fan of Grill’d, especially their Chillie Addict burger which I love with an extra Impossible patty on the side + the chips at Grill’d are ace… But seriously Burger Urge is next level surpassing all other burgers I have ever consumed in Brisbane. If someone said to me today, what is the best burger in Brisbane, I would say 1) my home BBQ’d snapper haloumi burger 2) Burger Urge Nundah. The burgers here are truly sensational and the chips are on par with Grill’d if not slightly better. But the burgers are Gods on Mount Olympus without peer no one comes close. At Grill’d someone will come and ask you if everything is okay within 3 mins of your great burger arriving but at Burger Urge they leave you alone because they know you are in the middle of a burgasm whilst you snort up the last of that chipotle sauce. Highly recommend the Chonky Boi and all the smashed varieties. Here is a picture of my burger 14 seconds after it was placed in...
Read moreThe Hotel Cali grilled chicken burger was nothing short of exquisite. The chicken was perfectly grilled, tender, juicy, and imbued with a subtle smokiness that elevated each bite. The avocado and fresh accompaniments provided a refreshing contrast, while the sauce tied everything together in a way that felt both indulgent and refined. It wasn’t just a burger; it was a culinary composition executed with remarkable finesse.
Equally impressive was the service. I was served by Sasha, whose attentiveness and genuine warmth made the experience all the more memorable. Her professionalism, coupled with an easygoing charm, ensured the atmosphere felt welcoming and unhurried.
This establishment demonstrates that even a humble burger can be transformed into a gourmet experience when crafted with care and passion. The Hotel Cali alone is worth the visit, and with service of Sasha’s calibre, I will certainly...
Read moreI've never complained about their food or their service before because I always got what I asked for. However, tonight I ordered two things from the place, a large chips and spicy chicken wings and I obtained hickory BBQ chicken wings instead. Funny enough, I never eat barbecue sauce because I can't stand the taste. Being delivered by UberEATS at 9.30pm, I only discovered the mistake after I ate my chips and called at 9.40pm. I was told that nothing could be done to fix the issue in the moment as the kitchen was closed, and I could get some free stuff later to apologise for the matter without actually employing the word "sorry" in the phone conversation. While the whole situation left me disappointed and hungry, this experience taught me not to have another night urge from there anytime soon. Leaving with 2 stars...
