The Village Social — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Fantastic staff... Great Beer & Ciders!.. The Village Social has an extremely cool atmosphere. It doesn't matter who you are or where you're from, you'll soon feel like a local here. The staff and punters are all very friendly, no need to be looking down at your mobile here. Someone's always up for a chat. Great local live music most nights. It's good to see a local venue supporting local music, rather than gambling addictions!... Definitely worth...

Went to have a drink and see what its like so I could organize having Friday drinks there. Played $8 for a Rum which I didn't mind, it was the service. I sat at the bar for 15 to 20 mins and the only person serving out of 4 staff members was the only female there. The men stood around doing nothing so eventually I realized that the only way to get a drink was to go home. The owners should be ashamed, they lost out on $100...

I absolutely HATE that I am leaving this review. I was here with a friend and I have never felt more uncomfortable being gay in the last 3 years in Brisbane, than being here.

The lack of situational awareness of the staff to people who were recording me and a friend who were literally just sitting there, was upsetting. This used to be my local and I returned after a few years and...
