What a big liar! Appalling! (In the response to my comment she said I came in at 7:10, I have a included a screenshot of me sending a pic of the coffee she served to me at 7:09)

Original comment: Slowest service I've ever had experienced. Waited 25 min to be told another 10 min to get a simple avocado on toast. No apology no nothing. Waited 30 min total had to cancel my order and left hungry with no time to grab something to eat elsewhere. It was breakfast and they only had 3 tables of couples when I walked in. Are you kidding me?

To add a reply to the response from the owner:

Please don't lie. I came in at 6:56, how I know this is I made a short call while walking in. If you know your cafe was at full capacity maybe you should have given me a warning as I ordered, and made me aware of wait time or whatever was happening in your kitchen. How do expect the customers to know? When I asked about my food, you simply said 10 more mins, there are people in front of you. I said I'm in a rush I can't wait any longer and cancelled my order. Is that what you call a demand? I left at 7:32 because I had texted to someone to say I was leaving with out my food. So yes that's a full 30 min. The cafe was not even half full when I went in, is that your FULL capacity? You also served me lactose milk with my coffee. When I clearly asked for a lactose free latte.

To include in your "apology" to say "sorry you were in a rush" is not an apology. If you had just said sorry about the wait, our kitchen has just opened would have been great, or even if you had responded that way to my comment would...

Tucked on a sunny corner, this charming café has a way of drawing you in with its inviting atmosphere and thoughtful design. The interior is beautifully styled with a cosy, welcoming touch – the kind of place where you can settle in and instantly feel relaxed, whether you’re catching up with friends or simply enjoying a quiet moment to yourself.

Coffee lovers will be delighted here, as the brews are consistently top quality – smooth, rich, and full of flavour without being overpowering. It’s clear that care and attention go into every cup. The menu also offers a lovely range of bites to enjoy alongside your drink, making it easy to linger a little longer than planned.

This spot is no secret to the locals, who keep it buzzing with a steady, friendly crowd. The energy is lively but never overwhelming, striking a nice balance between social and laid-back. If you’re looking for an authentic local favourite, this is exactly the kind of café that captures the spirit of the community.

Whether you’re after a quick coffee on the go or a comfortable corner to unwind, this little gem delivers on both quality and atmosphere – a must-visit if you’re...

Took mom out for breakfast to the newest addition to Nundah's food options.

Once the old Slightly Twisted Espresso, now it's a bright and refreshed cafe bringing in a nice twist to Nundah.

First order of business, coffee 😋. Mom went with a latte, and for me iced long black by moonshine roasters coffee. A morning without coffee is always a bad idea lol.

Food wise, mom went the omelette route with their changing weekly specials. Me and my sweet tooth went for the Pikelet ❤️. Poppy seed pikelets with vanilla ricotta, spiced pear, fresh berries, canadian maple, and macadamias. I'm so glad it was more than one pikelet lol, something different and really delicious.

Definitely somewhere I need to come back to and try more from their menu. Really loved exterior and interior design, very nice vibes and...
