I made the mistake of going here on a Tuesday night, (07/03/23) after seeing a photo of a rack of ribs on their website. Much like McDonald's, the reality was nothing like the promised photos. A work friend and I went there in the evening and tried to order the $14.95 ribs special available during March... We were immediately told that it was only an online offer and we would have to order online, but could eat it there. We thought, "strange.... But okay, we'll order online." As we were fumbling with setting up an account to order from the website, the cashier advises us that the manger said she could take our order through the register, but would have to buy a drink. We were already planning on buying a drink, but there's nothing like a bit of cheap extortion tactics to bolster your appetite. Anyway, we also ordered chicken wings as well. The wings came first, which looked like they came from an emciated chicken that had an eating disorder. There was more bone than meat. In saying that, the flavour wasn't too bad, but it was very dry. Luckily I was coerced into buying a drink so the dryness was off-set with a beverage purchased under duress. 😋 After the 'succulent' chicken entree... We were greeted with the smallest rack of ribs that I have ever seen. They tasted quite nice but it was disappointing due to what was suggested in the photo on the website. Accompanying the tiny serve of ribs, was a layer of chips... Not a bowl of chips, or a pile of chips, it was a layer of chips. They lay side by side, (I think that I counted 9 in total) and reminded me of a miniature version of Tom Hanks raft on Castaway , except it was made of potato chips. The chip flavour was also pretty good, but the serving size was just a let down. All up, it cost $29.95. Anyway, if you're in the mood for overpaying for mediocre food and leaving hungry and with a lighter wallet, visit Burrito Bar...
Read moreI love Burrito Bar. Staff are friendly & kind and stores usually clean. My food is always great, whether it’s late night snack, after work snack, work lunch, etc. I always come here. I also get it delivered via DoorDash and usually they are great with that as well, but sometimes forget my sauce.
Edit as of 17.07.25: PLEASE STOP PUTTING TOMATO AND OTHER RANDOM CONDIMENTS IN MY BLACK BEAN AND CHEESE BURRITO. I order it for a reason and SPECIFICALLY ASK for NO TOMATO!!! NO TOMATO SALSA, NO PICO. What if I was allergic? Also today, THERE WAS ONION IN IT?? ONION DOESN'T EVEN GO IN IT ORIGINALLY!!!! LIKE WHAT IS THE COOK DOING, JUST CRAFTING RANDOM SHIT UP BACK THERE? It is especially annoying as I stress for NONE OF THIS IN IT! Then I go to eat it and can't, and I do not have time to return to the store to get it rectified because I've used my half hour lunch break already. BRUH!! This continuously happens to me when I get lunch here during work hours even after I stress to them to never PUT TOMATO IN MY BURRITO. Further, another time I received someone else's food I assume or the cook made it completely wrong and once I got back to work, IT WAS FULL OF MEAT?? TOMATO, ONION, ETC? LIKE WHAT! I asked for BLACK BEAN AND CHEESE, FOR A REASON. I AM A VEGETARIAN!!!! Luckily I had back up food, but bruh - sometimes I want a burrito, but the cyclical nature of these annoying mess ups are making me not want to return and as you can see, I have been a loyal burrito bar lover, FOR A YEAR!!! You'd think by now, they would get it - NO TOMATO. Idk what more I can do besides write it on...

Food: I got the crispy wrap with pulled beef and the sauce was good, very flavourful but not as crispy as I would have liked. Friends got the ribs which they said was nice, tender and they had a special on so the price was great. Chips were crispy with a nice seasoning. My partner got the pulled pork burrito which was nice, a little soft and the pork didn't have as much flavour as the beef but still yum. Also got the deluxe churros which has I've cream and cream which wasn't too sweet so complimented the ice cream well. Jalapeno poppers were crispy too.
Service: Staff were friendly and the service was pretty quick. Good came out at different times like the jalapeno poppers came out after the burritos when it's more of an entree so maybe just timing for these could be planned better.
Atmosphere: Shop was clean and decorated well. Not a fan of the big shelves of old bottles as it just collects dust but looks cool I guess. The benches were heavy at the tables but it was comfortable.
Location: There's street parking nearby, maybe a minute walk and the location was pretty quiet. Seemed like a main road but not too many cars going pass so it was...
