Hey hey. So. friend took me to the antique centre at Camp Hill.
There are two parts for the antique shop and cafe. I will start with the antique centre. It is in the old picture theater at Camp Hill. It is a huge space that is basically a space cut up into lotz for sellars. So I assume it is all on consignment. There is everything from jewelry to antique war memorabilia. It is a great place to walk around if you like going to markets. So now is the added value to the store. They have a cafe at the front if th ed antique store. They do breakfast from 9am on the week days and 8am on the weekends. They close at 430pm. So they as range of baked goodies including GFand V products in their display case and also on the menu that covers breakfast and lunch. They are no open at night.
So I had th ed spaghetti and meat balls. The favour was great and the size of the meal was ok. My friend had the chicken burger which she enjoyed. The service was good, with ordering and paying for your order at the counter. Staff were friendly. Although my friend wanted her coffee delayed by 20 mins and unfortunately after making that request as I ordered it still arrived with my thick shake. That's the only thing I can really say was a bit of a thing that went wrong.
There is outside din in ng on the footpath and is well covered and comfortable. There is also seating in the cafe that is either booth type sitting or at individual tables.
Parking is either on street as well as under cover parking, entrance from the side street.
This place is contemporary with some yesteryear thongs to complement the style. There is much to look at while you are there. Would I go back..... of course and have already. Allow yourself time to look around at the display of life as it...

Lovely little retro in house cafe. Small limited menu but sufficient if you're wanting a light menu. The centre itself is filled with a tonnes of bric brac. Retro, vintage and retro finds to entice your senses. A very interesting and fun venue to while a few hours away. Prices of items are expensive but to be expected when you don't have rummage garage sales on the weekends yourself. Parking is a challenge though.
My Updated Review for the relocated and renamed establishment, now known as Camp Hill Antique Centre (9th June, 2018):
I have been meaning to come and check out the new location, especially given that it is closer to me. While the location lacks lustre being on a busy main road where parking can still be problematic, it's worth the trip. As before, they have kept their passion for good finds with beautifully curated selection of antiques and knick knacks. The cafe is still lovely and serving a small but delicious menu.
The exterior of the building belies the vast interior within. There is wonderment and delight in every corner. It was a sight for the eyes and heart. I am not exaggerating when I say I can happily browse here all day. Or better still, shop here all day.
Whether you are looking to purchase or browse, it is a lovely way to spend an afternoon getting happily lost in all the treasures.
If you love photography, this is an excellent place to practice as there are curiosities to be uncovered in every inch...
Read moreBeen purchasing and visiting this antique store on several occasions and had a good experience. Today I decided to visit the cafe with my 3 month old puppy to enjoy their breakfast. I was let down with the service of the staff. I sat down and got ignored by staff for a menu and eventually asked the kind Asian girl who was helpful after asking.
I wanted to place an order and the dark haired girl just kept walking past.
I asked if I could place an order for breakfast and she told me I can only order at the counter. I explained I have a small puppy and am alone. She just kept walking on shrugging her shoulder.
I tied my puppy off to their post and chairs with fail due to it falling over.
Eventually a really kind guest offered to hold her so I could place an order but the attitude and cold shoulder by the staff at this point made me decide to leave the establishment.
I went down the road instead for breakfast and the staff there was so kind and warming and helpful with the situation and didn’t have an issue providing a welcoming service.
Sorry to say I won’t...
