Apparently there is a 2 hour limit on dining time! Wasn't told when we made booking, wasn't told when we were seated, and wasn't told when we first ordered. Portions were small for their price so we decided to add more. Then the waitress told me bluntly "we won't have enough time to make it because you only have 30 minutes left" like hello? Do you shut at 7:30? Anyway when 7:30pm came, the waitress bluntly told us to pack away our food as the next table "has been waiting for very long time". Okay, not my problem for your bad guest management isn't it? She abruptly took our plates away and INSISTED to charge us the container for a petty $.30 to get a grip. I'm from Hong Kong and I can tolerate ę¾³ē's and a lot of HK aunties rush and push attitude in fast food but lady you're just plain rude. Also there was no light at all if you come early session. Was dining in the dark with phone lights on. It was extremely dangerous to go to the private toilet too nearly tripped on the tiles because it was pitch dark. APPARENTLY it's centre management's problem. Like ok, if you decide to set your tables outside to cater more people, wouldn't this be considered? Parking was absolutely chaotic with only 30 max. Good luck if you have a big group! Food is average coming from a Cantonese background. Definitely not something I call authentic. Took 30 minutes for a fried rice to come and have to audacity to set a 2hour time limit. Btw, went home and had diarrhea all night so good luck to you all who decides to pay for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had a very disappointing dining experience at this restaurant, specifically with their Coconut Chicken Hotpot.
To start with, the server forgot to add the coconut into the pot until I reminded them ā halfway through cooking. But the real issue was that even after boiling for a long time, the coconut pieces were so hard they were completely inedible. When I asked for a replacement, I was told āthis entire batch of coconuts is like that.ā
What made things worse was that a friend dining at the next table also ordered the same dish, and their coconut was completely fine ā soft and easy to eat. This clearly showed the problem wasnāt with the whole batch.
When I insisted on a replacement, the manager repeated the same excuse and even said they couldnāt guarantee the new coconut would be soft. I requested a refund, but was told āthe food isnāt spoiled, so we canāt refund.ā
I understand that food quality can vary occasionally, but whatās unacceptable is: ⢠The restaurantās first reaction was to dismiss the issue instead of solving it. ⢠Poor quality control being pushed onto customers. ⢠A complete lack of service attitude or flexibility when handling complaints.
If my friend hadnāt ordered the same dish, I probably wouldāve been misled by the ābatch excuse.ā Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience.
I hope the restaurant seriously addresses their quality control and trains their staff to handle customer concerns more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe were told they have 2 sessions for dinner so we thought it must be good, how wrong we are !!! We went tonight (20.08.22) for the earlier session, there were quite a bit of customers already. Service was chaotic, their staff just gave you a table to sit down and that's it! You have to chase them numerous time to come back to take our order. The food came out intermittently which was what I hated most ! The spare ribs in capital sauce was soggy, the lobsters and noodles were gluey and the sauce was super thick, the barramundi was tiny for the $33 we paid for it and the other dishes were all below par and the serving was small too ! Definitely the worst Chinese dinner I had for quite a while ! I honestly couldn't find anything enjoyable which worth going back to this restaurant and I had dinner at the 3 bamboo at 8 Miles Plains just the week before and that dinner won hands down ! The outdoor seating is also extremely uncomfortable so do yourself a favour, go elsewhere if you want an enjoyable dinner worth the...
