Had the cravings for some chinese BBQ meat and took the family to Tri BBQ for dinner. Ordering was super easy, just pick your choice of meat and then pick rice or noodle to go with it and there you have a meal which came with a small bowl of soup, an egg and some side vege. We had the duck leg, roast pork and BBQ pork and the dishes came very quickly which is a plus for hungry children. The kids also liked seeing the meat get chopped up. The BBQ pork was tasty and the standout is definitely the roast pork which had the perfect crackling. Would have given 5 stars if the duck was not chewy and dry which is contrary to other reviews, maybe unlucky with a lean one. I ordered their signature Tri-Bbq, when comes to select 3 types of meat, got told bbq duck is not included, requires additional $3（ was not stated in the menu, menu only say if you want boneless duck there’s additional $3 surcharge). We ended up picked sausage, bbq pork and soy chicken. On the menu their soy chicken is soy chicken Maryland, but when I open the lid, only found very tiny amount of overcooked soy chicken and can’t even identify which part of the chicken it’s from. Tri BBQ serves HK style BBQ meats with rice or noodles. The soup that comes with each meal was really tasty, the broth had a lot of flavour. The BBQ pork was a bit dry but flavour was okay. The duck and roast pork was alright, the skin was fairly crispy and not too fatty. Similar to what other customers have said the food is good for Brisbane standards but not the best.
