I've been here a few times for dine in and takeaway. Was surprised to see on my most recent visit that they no longer accept cash, so there's now a mandatory 2% surcharge when you order and pay at the kiosk just inside the entrance. This is actually against the rules of surcharges but I'm not sure if anyone knows this or cares.
I'm deducting marks for this and the wobbly tables which are never a good match for putting liquid-filled containers on!
Overall ambience is nice though and there's self service water available, making for a good place to hang out for a sweet dessert. Turnover was pretty high on a weekend evening so if you find the place pretty full you'll hopefully get a seat soon enough.
I've tried a few items from both their traditional sugar water section and the coconut pudding section. Everything is served cold by default but you can request them to warm up your item and add sugar if you prefer.
bean curd and barley sweet soup $5.80 paw paw, snow fungus with coconut pudding $7.80 + tea jelly $0.80? ginseng, longan and and peach gum sweet soup $8.80 + pearl $0.60 ice cream, little rice ball with coconut pudding in mango sauce $7.80 + taro ball $1.20
All these choices have been pretty decent but next time I'm curious to try the rice noodle desserts - don’t think I’ve ever seen much less eaten hofan (河粉) in a dessert so that's definitely caught my attention!

The food: ~ Whole Coconut Pudding ~ Poached Pear + White Fungus dessert . Very straight forward concept here. Pick what you want, order & pay via machine, wait for your number to be called out, collect your treats and hand over receipt 🙌🏻🤗 . Both desserts tasted great. Best things is that it’s not too sweet (#iykyk) Wifey’s whole coconut was pretty good. Basically a pudding that they pour back into the coconut and serve to you - pretty nice 👌🏻 . My poached pear dish was super refreshing, really liked it cos again, not too sweet and the pear is super soft soaking in all the yumminess 🤤 . Heaps of parking on site, nice little local joint - would say if you’re in the area, it’s not a bad...
Read morea cute little Asian dessert shop that offers both cold and warm “soupy” desserts, like sago and brown sugar jelly desserts. You order using the machines out the front, which allow you to select different toppings and personalise your dessert to suit you (you choose the general dessert, then add toppings like mochi, sago, different flavours, etc). The girl at the front was very nice too and she was patient and friendly. The water is self serve and the food comes on a tray, which feels very Asian hahah. The dessert itself was good- not too sweet and quite tasty! If you do like a sweeter dessert, they also have the sugar syrup, to adjust the flavour...
