After arriving very early to drop off luggage at nearby hotel, we decided to stop and eat at the mill. They were opening and we were welcome by a great employee, Tom, who was amazing, funny, and very welcoming. He explained a few things among them AFL sold out game, local food, the old mill across the street, and joking about how 'Americans love Starbucks'. Just an amazing experience to be welcomed while visiting Australia and Brisbane for the first time at this amazing local coffee shop. 100% recommended! Food is delicious and you sit outside looking at the oldest building in Brisbane.

Located across the road from the Windmill, it was great to sit outside and enjoy my lunch. An old-fashioned coffee shop with a wide range of meals available from sandwiches, cakes and full-cooked meals. Fabulous service, great coffee, and I enjoyed a plate of cut sandwiches. Will return.

I had breakfast at the Mill and the food was amazing, the staff are so friendly (Ken, Lisa, Mary, Wendy and Sam are incredible!). I've been back several times since and will continue to keep going back. Highly recommend!!! Thank you team! :)

This is one of those hidden little treasures that you want to tell people about, but not too many because you want to be able to get a table when you visit. Really does remind me of old fashioned cafes but in a very good way. The menu has almost everything and the chicken Caesar salad I had (made Freshly ) was not just incredibly yummy but also large enough to satisfy any appetite. Staff all friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor for lunch, get a takeaway pack and wander across the road to the old Mill and parks and just enjoy yummy food and watch the...

We were staying up the road and ended up here as it was the first place we came across. The menu was basic and it wasn't very busy so I didn't expect it to be one of the best places we visited on our whole holiday. The gentleman that served us was cheerful and funny and made us feel more than welcome. The food prices were fantastic so we were also surprised by the portions. I'd make this my regular if we lived...
