Fong Yung Chinese — Restaurant in Brisbane City

It's not the first time I've been here. I normally get their lunch meals , which are precooked under their heat lamp. It's OK, not great , but reasonably priced for like 3 dishes with rice or noodles. However this time , I thought I'll try their singapore noodles, off their menu, which the chef had to make the dish to order. Nothing even close to singapore noodles. No taste of any curry , it was really oily , also really bland , it felt like they forgot to add salt or any seasoning Portion, I felt was a touch small. I had to add chilling sauce on the dish to give it some flavor. Quite disappointing. I know this ain't a malaysian or Singaporean restaurant, but I didn't expect it to be that bland and oily.

Definitely won't be ordering that dish again.

The server was polite and smiled when ordering. But could of offered you would like the dish to have spicy, hot , medium or mild. Or offered any drinks .

Other than that , it wasn't a bad experience, just disappointed on that dish. Will probably still go back, but stick to their 3 choice...

the staff here are the nicest people i have ever come across in any customer service (special shout-out to the two beautiful girls that made my day chatting with me on my lunch break). they go beyond 10/10 with their welcoming and friendly vibe and are always down for a quick chat. they have THE BEST food - it is always the same flawless quality and only $12 for a takeaway box with multiple choices inside (the staff will also PACK ur box FULL - like hello? that’s amazing) i just love coming here,...

The best take away chinese I have had in Brisbane over the last 10 years... all so tasty... generous serves... A1 Customer Service.. Sweet & Sour Pork and Honey Chicken perfect... both choices lots pork & chicken with light serve of batter - last place I tried it was the reverse .. all batter no filling.. will be back as often as I can get there ....Thank you for such an...
